Lilah sat on the bench waiting for billie for ten minutes legging her thoughts run crazily through her mind
what does her future with renée contain?
are they ever gonna stop fighting every other day?
why is she acting this way?

She had messaged one of apartment listed down south which was slightly further away from renée but she needed a place if she decided to move here

she had spoken to her brother who thought it was also a good idea for her to get her own place and start somewhere fresh

before she could take a look at other places on zillow she saw a mate black dodge challenger pull up in front of her with a smiling red/ black haired girl

"what's a pretty girl like you waiting all alone?"

Billie spoke in a funny tone making Lilah crack and smile and get up walking over to the passers side

"oh you know waiting for her knight and shinning armour prince"

Billie laughed locking the doors as she got in and drove off

"so what happened with you and renée if you don't mind me asking..."

with a heavy sigh she looked out towards the empty street ahead of them

"i don't know she just seems so distant no matter what i do and she doesn't want to do anything like spend the day with me? don't get me wrong she's a great girlfriend and i love her but...."

Billie noticed her lost in thought for an answer before she reached over and rubbed her shoulder

"hey let's get your mind off things okay? we're gonna have fun and grab some food after yeah?"

Lilah smiled successfully feeling a little better but part of her started feeling guilty that she's having fun whilst she just basically told renée she's leaving her house soon which she kinda lied about but she needed to check renée back into reality.

After a comfortable car ride of billie humming the lyrics to Halley's Comet and Lilah resting her head back watching as the trees went past they arrived at Billie's home

"this is your place?"

Lilah asked as she got out of the car and admired the cute home in front of her with lots of land around them

"yeah i wanted a place a little further away from the city, i have horse stables out at the back and stuff it's been my dream"

Lilah gasped at the mention of horses, her favourite thing ever

"you have horses!? can you get any cooler?"

The pair smiled before billie led them inside where she was met with Zoe, finneas and Claudia  who she was acquainted with and some other people she didn't really know

"I'm back! Lilah you know my brother
claudia and Zoe, this is Odessa, Quen,and Alex guys this is Lilah"

Everyone had said hi and Lilah walked over to Claudia and zoe

"how have you been girl?"

Zoe asked

"not bad not bad i'm just looking at some work and trying to get a place in staying with renée until then"

"wait renée as in renée rapp?"

Odessa asked stuffing a chip in her mouth as she shared with Quen

"uh yeah she's my girlfriend"
