I know you
I have seen you in my childhood
You have touched me once before
You are my viceI know you
I know your voice
I have seen your wicked face
You are dangerousI know the fear you install in me
And yet I see beauty within youI know what haunts me
I know what calls my name from time to time
The touch of the flame
So enticing
So beautiful
So deadlyI see visions of you
Destruction in your wake
As you hungrily devour everything in your path
All I love
All I know
And yet I am the one who called youI have played with you
I have utilised you more than once
I need you every day
And I can't live without youI have known you
And I've seen what you can do
I know it should not be this way
But you fascinate me all the sameThe touch of the flame
The face of the fire
The beauty of the blaze
The unwanted desireI will admire you from afar
For I fear the visions I see
Of me taking your hand
And you burning mine
Of me setting you free
And you feeding off of me
Of me letting you go
And you destroying all, save my ownI hate to love you
So I'll keep my hands away
I can't stop my mind
But I can control my actions
So I'll do what I've always done bestI will hide it from the world
For the safety of everyone
And myself
