Sunday came with morning glory
Monday came and went
Tuesday's here with its own story
And on the morrow a new sun will rise
But unless I pacify this feeling
This unrelenting monster within
I will not feel, I will not rest
I will all but fear what's coming next
I can't contain what my heart feels
I can't control the things around me
There's this entity inside me
But I know it's only .... Me.
I rub my face time and time again
I rest my chin upon my hands
I hold my face in my hands and sigh
Clueless simple man, I close my eyes
I feel a hunger, a fear, a cry
I fear a monster deep inside
Awoken, awakened, dissatisfied
I'm restless and unsettled, I can't hide.
I need to be satisfied
It needs to be pacified...
