"Twins?" Beth shouts at me. I nod. I just told the team about our pregnancy and everyone was already excited when I dropped the news about it being twins.

"Yeah."

"Leah as a twin mum. Who would have thought." Lia says while hugging me. It sounds so good to hear this.

"Did you tell Jonas already?" Caitlin asks.

"No. But I will after training today."

"Why?" Katie asks. She can't be serious.

"Because I will have to step out of training." I say.

"You are not pregnant." She shrugs. She doesn't get what I mean.

"I'm talking about the time after they are born. I want to spend time with my babies. I won't leave Ellie alone at home dealing with two babies." I say.

"You should take as much time as you need. They will need you there in the first time and you shouldn't miss this." Lia says. I'm glad she supports me in this. As of now Ellie is fine. She is in the fourth month now and her bump starts to get visible especially considering that there are two babies in there. We had a lot of talks about the new house and actually just need to sign the contract for it. So it's already sure we will move there. It is literally perfect.

After training I told Jonas about the pregnancy. He was really supportive and sweet about it. He made sure that I will get as much time off as I need to and even said I could always take time off during the pregnancy if Ellie needs some help. While I'm at training, Ellie went to the monthly check up appointment at the doctors. I was a bit sad that I couldn't make it there to be with her but I can't wait for her to tell me about it when I get home.

I come home to an amazing smell in the house. I think Ellie is baking something. I take off my jacket and make my way to the kitchen. Ellie is indeed standing at the kitchen counter making some kind of dough there. I don't think she realised me coming in yet since she is using the mixer which is pretty loud. I just step behind her and lay my hands on her hips. She jumps up and looks behind herself in panic.

"Hi." I smile at her.

"God, Leah. You scared me." She says.

"Sorry." I wrap my arm around her and place my hands on her little baby bump. "What are you making?"

"Cookies. Jacky is coming over to discuss something for the upcoming shows." She says. I kiss her cheek gently.

"Ah okay. How was the appointment? How were they?" I ask. I can't wait to know everything about them and hopefully see a new picture.

"Very good. They are both completely fine but the doctor said that one of them is a bit smaller and we need to make sure that it will still get enough to eat to grow." She says. I immediately start to worry.

"But they are still healthy?"

"Yeah. It's nothing bad. Just something to keep an eye on. They are perfect, Le. You could really see the shape of them. They look like actual babies." She says while placing her hand on my hands. I'm so sad that I wasn't there.

"Did you see them move?" I ask.

"Yeah. They moved their hands and feet." She tells me. I feel like I will start to cry.

"Did you get a picture?" I really want to see.

"Yeah. It's over there." She points at the table. I let go of her and go to take a look at the picture. As soon as I look at it, I feel how I start to smile. They both look like actual babies. They have everything. Little fingers and toes. Even the noses are visible. These are actually our babies. I look over at Ellie who is looking at me with a smile.
