I open my eyes in the morning and immediately feel the same happiness that I felt when I fell asleep. The morning sun is shining through the curtains and gives the room a cosy atmosphere. I rolled over in my sleep and now have my back turned at Ellie. Her arm is still resting over my waist tho. I slowly turn around and make sure her arm doesn't move away. She is still sleeping and looks absolutely beautiful. I love to wake up before her in the morning. I lay my arm over her to hold her close to me. I just look at her and feel how I start to smile.

"I love you so much." I whisper at her and gently kiss her cheek. I keep my nose close to her cheek and smell at her. It feels weird to smell at someone but she just smells so good. Her scent makes my entire body relaxed. I kiss her cheek again. This time she moves a bit and quietly mumbles.

"Good morning." I say.

"I love to wake up to your kisses." She says in her sexy morning voice. I love this rawness in her voice in the morning. She looks over at me but without moving her head.

"You deserve all the kisses in the world." I say and peck her cheek and then her temple.

"Can I take you out some night?" I suddenly ask. I wanted to ask that for a while. Ellie starts to grin at me. I just wait for her to say yes.

"I wouldn't say no to a date with you."

"When are you free?" I would take any day and make myself free for her. I just want us to spend time together.

"Saturday."

"Okay. Saturday it is." I kiss her cheek again and in this moment Ellie rolls over so our lips meet in a surprising kiss. She kisses me a bit deeper and strokes over my cheek and down my neck.

"Should I get the boys?" I mumble.

"Mhm." Ellie nods with her lips still on mine. I pull back and sit up. We can finally spend a morning like a family again. I always loved these morning cuddles.

I go into the babies room to check on Henry and James. They are awake but look calm.

"Morning, sweeties." I greet them and pick them up. I kiss them both and make my way to the bedroom. "Me and you will have a cuddle with mum now."

I enter the bedroom again and Ellie immediately smiles up at me and the boys. They got quite big by now so it gets harder to carry both of the at the same time. Henry reaches his arms out for Ellie as he spots her.

"Do you want to go to mum?" I chuckle at him and sit on the bed. I hand Henry over to Ellie who gives him a few kisses on his head. I lay back down with James next to me. I roll over and lay my hand on his stomach. He moves slightly and after a while turns to the side. I kiss his cheek and he grabs my nose. Ellie keeps chuckling at that.

"He is just as obsessed with you as I am." She laughs. I grab James and put him on my chest. He lets out some squeaks and keeps touching my face.

"Are you obsessed with me?" I say at him in a baby voice. "I'm obsessed with you too."

"We should go downstairs. You have training today." Ellie says. She is right about that tho. I don't really want to go to training and leave Ellie again. I want her with me the entire time. I can't wait for Saturday to come and finally get some time with her to ourselves. I missed spending time with her.

Today is the day of our date. It's in the evening but since it's summer it's still not dark and warm outside. I planned for us to have a Picknick and maybe see some stars later. I prepared some stuff to eat and drink and got a blanket. Lia and Beth came over to watch the boys while we are away. I packed everything up in a rucksack and also got flowers. I hid them somewhere outside our house so I could surprise her with it when we are going outside and also because Beth would make fun of me.
