Today is the day of our first match of the camp. Yesterday we did a lot of preparation for today. Kate has still been a bit weird but at least she didn't suggest to start an affair again. I still don't like to be in a room with her. Today is also Ellies birthday. I can't wait to see her later after the game. I got her a present but I will give her that later. I have a special plan for her.
We are just done with our final training and I need to call my mum to prepare my evening plan.
"Hello, Leah." My mum picks up.
"Hi."
"Did you call Ellie already?" My mum immediately asks me.
"No, I texted her in the morning but I want to talk to her in person later. I have a plan about that." I say.
"She really wants to see you. She has been going on about it. I'll go to your house in a few minutes and watch the boys when she comes to your match."
"About that, can you watch the boys overnight?" I ask.
"Why? I will ask Ellie when I go there." Mum says.
"No. Don't ask her. I want to surprise her that she can spend the night with me." I explain my plan. I really want to spend the night with her. Although Kate will be in my room, I still want Ellie to be there. I missed her next to me.
"Oh okay. You think she'd like that?"
"I hope so. I won't force her tho." I laugh.
"Don't worry. I will watch the boys and won't tell Ellie."
"Thanks, mum. I have to go back now and get ready to head to the stadium." I say while packing my things.
"Me and the boys will watch from home. Good luck for the match." She says. I like this thought. I have to smile.
"Send pictures."
"I will. Bye."
"Bye." I end the call and throw my phone into my bag. I need to hurry up a bit.
Back in my room, I check the present for Ellie. I won't take it to the stadium so I won't lose it there. I want to give it to her when we come here. It's a necklace with three pieces on it which have an H, J and L on it for me and the boys. I know she will love it. I still want to have something for her at the stadium tho so I got a single rose which I will give to her.
"What are you doing?" Kate enters the room a bit later as I just carefully put the rose in my bag.
"It's my wife's birthday today. She'll probably stay the night with me here." I say. I don't want to completely overrun her with this. It's still her room too.
"Should I go for the night?"
"No. It's your room as well. She'll sleep in my bed." I shake my head. Actually I would prefer to be alone with Ellie but I don't want to send Kate out of her own room.
