We return to England a few days later. We had a final talk with Nina again and Becky will help her from now on. I hope she will actually find the right track in her life but I'm happy that she lets us live our right track.

"Leah?" Ellie knocks on the door of the bathroom as I just wrap myself in a towel.

"Yeah?"

"I'll come to your match tomorrow. I just cancelled tomorrow's meeting." She says. I have a match with Arsenal tomorrow against Manchester City at the Emirates which is a pretty big match for us. I wanted Ellie to come but she had a meeting for her shows. Since she is the boss there now she has a lot more behind the scenes work to do. I find it somehow attractive that she is the boss.

"Did you cancel it because of the match?" I ask. I don't want that. She shouldn't put that before her job.

"No, two girls are sick anyway. Plus I would really like to see you tomorrow." She says.

"I got you season tickets." I say. I didn't tell her that before.

"Really? So you just assumed I would always come?" She teases me.

"I mean, I would love to have you there so just in case you want to, I got you tickets. That doesn't mean you have to come." I quickly say to not pressure her. She steps up to me while laughing.

"Relax, Le. I was just joking. I love to watch you and you're also the captain tomorrow. It's sexy to say that." She kisses my cheek and gives me a sweet smirk.

"You never watched me in the Emirates before. It's a big moment."

"It's also a sweet moment because we had our first actual date there." She says. She is right. I loved that date. It was so cute.

"We held hands for the first time." I remember with a smile on my face.

"I tell you a secret. My hands weren't actually cold. I just wanted to hold your hand." Ellie says.

"To be honest, I was thinking about holding your hand the entire time." I say. I can still remember how I felt in that situation. I was so nervous and excited. I can't believe that now I have her in the stands watching me and kissing me after the match. Ellie smiles at me while leaning against the sink.

"Do you want to cook something together tonight?" She asks. I like our cooking and movie nights. It's always so cosy.

"And a movie?" I add.

"Of course." I nod with a smile. It became a tradition to do this once a week.

I get dressed and we meet again in the kitchen.

"What are we making?" I look at Ellie. I hope she has an idea because I don't have a clue.

"Chicken with this small diced salad." She says.

"What salad?"

"Don't you know it from TikTok? I sent it to you like thousands times. The one where you cut all the vegetables in like super small dices." She says. I remember that. She has been going on about it for weeks. I don't get the hype. It's just a lot of unnecessary work.

"I know. But it's a lot of cutting." I sigh.

"You prepare the chicken and I start with the cutting then you can help me."

"Deal." I nod.

I start with cutting the chicken and preparing it for the oven while Ellie starts to cut the salad and the cucumber already. I hear her humming a song while she is cutting. I have to smile at that. It sounds so cute. I don't say anything about it because I know that it will stop her. I think about my proposal. How I should do it. I want to play something for her on the piano because I know how much she loves it when I do that. I want it to be a surprise and unexpected even though she knows I will do it. I know she doesn't need a big show or something. I just play her a song, say something and then do it. A simple thing. I know she will say yes and that feels very good. Still I want to put effort in this.
