The next weekend, is the day of our date. I have been looking forward to this for long. Ellie will take me out and I have no idea where. My mum will take the boys overnight so we would have some time to ourselves. I think we all know why we want to have the night to ourselves. The boys are now almost three months old and we still didn't have sex for once. I hope Ellie is really ready and isn't just doing it for me.
My mum came and picked up the boys in the afternoon so we can get ready. Ellie told to dress a bit more fancy. I still don't know where she wants to take me. I get dressed upstairs and just get my hair done. I can't wait to see Ellie. I know she will look fantastic because she always looks fantastic.
I wait in the living room until I hear Ellie coming in. I look up at her and my eyes turn into hearts. She is wearing a beige blazer and has her hair in a slicked back ponytail. Her nails are painted red and she is wearing her golden earrings that I love so much. She looks even better than I thought she would look.
"Wow. You look so so... beautiful." I just get out. She always looks beautiful but I missed seeing her like this. She gets a smile on her face as she comes up to me.
"You also look stunning, baby." She whispers at me and takes my hand. I can't believe that she is mine.
"Can I kiss you or will that ruin your look?" I ask.
"Your kisses could never ruin anything." She says in a soft tone and then gently kisses me. I have to smile a bit while her lips are still on mine. I love this woman with all my heart. It's insane.
"I'm so in love with you." I say.
"Wait until after this date to tell me that." She chuckles.

We go outside and into the car. Ellie drives. I still don't know where and she won't tell me. I try to make it up by looking out of the window. I don't think I was here before. I don't know this area. We stop in front of a very high building.
"What are we doing?" I ask as I look at Ellie. She has this cheeky smile on her face.
"Getting dinner." She just says.
"Where?"
"Up there." She points up the building.
"What?" I don't get what she means. How can we eat there?
"There is a rooftop restaurant where we will go." She finally says. It sounds like a very sweet idea. In the end I don't care where we go, I just want Ellie around me.
We go up with an elevator until we reach the top floor. Ellie booked a table for us. The entire restaurant has big glass walls so you can see the entire skyline from here. It looks amazing. We get taken to our table which is directly at the window. We order drinks first. Ellie gets a non alcoholic drink.
