Lee's POV

"You know you don't have to go, you and the babies can stay with me." Aniyah tried to plead with me.

"I know, but I won't do your sanctuary like that. Plus I'll need extra space regardless, I'm not just having one kid." I spoke as I scrolled through my MacBook looking for an apartment.

We sat on D's couch watching some cartoons with E. We were both bored so we decided to chill at her house. After playing outside with E for a little bit we all came in and we're now lounging around her open living room.

"I get you. Just make sure we have a key to the new place." D joked from the floor.

She was laid out holding E up on her hands and feet, laughing with him as she lowered and raised him repeatedly. He was too cute. His hair was grown out and twisted up nicely thanks to his big cousin. I noticed that besides his nose and eyes, he was D's twin. I prayed that my babies looked like me too.

"Y'all are adorable." I laughed at the two.

"Girl." She put him down and rolled into her stomach looking at me. "He's just a free workout."

"Girl." He mocked her placing his chin on her shoulder wearing the same grin Landin did when he messed with her.

"Ima whoop your lil ass." She sat up grabbing him and holding him tight as he giggled.

"He's always tryna mock somebody." Aniyah laughed.

"I know, bad ass." She smirked down at him and he gave her the same look before laughing at her repeatedly littering his cheeks with kisses.

"Where you tryna move to?" She looked up to me after her son calmed down.

I shrugged. "I don't know, I don't really care as long as it's close to work and a nice neighborhood."

I quickly got annoyed because every apartment I found was either super far or too expensive. All I was looking for was a two-bedroom, why the fuck did they cost 3k a month? I had money saved up but not enough to afford these prices. My job paid well but with me doing everything on my own and now having to care for two extra people, I was barely making it. I huffed getting frustrated and tossed the MacBook elsewhere on the couch.

"What's wrong with you?" Aniyah questioned looking surprised at my sudden outburst.

"Why is everything so fucking expensive?" I cocked my neck looking at the two girls.

"I know, thank god Landin pays the majority of the bills. This shit is hard." D whined. "There's no way I'd be able to go to school if he didn't pay for it."

"Well not to brag but my man doesn't allow me to even touch my wallet when we're together." Aniyah gushed.

I turned my lip up at her. "Don't give me that look, jealous ass."

"Hoe ain't nobody jealous of you." I rolled my eyes. "But why you bragging when we're literally telling you our struggles."

"Because y'all not struggling! Cous, Landin pays the bills like you said and I know he makes sure you and his son straight. And Lee, you're fine, you're choosing to move when I just told you that you can stay with me."
