Lester's POV
"Let's go!" I heard the deep rumble of my brother's voice coming from inside the house.
"Hey!" Aniyah's squeaky voice evaded my eardrums as she opened the door, revealing her dressed in a bright Chiefs jersey with a matching hat and dark jeans.
"Everybody is in the living room." She informed me as she stepped aside allowing me to fully enter the crib.
I nodded as I rounded the corner into the open kitchen, placing down a fat ass plate of wings.
I heard Aniyah scoff behind me. "I know my girl did not make these wings."
"She did."
"I told her she didn't have to do that! She got enough going on she ain't have to make nothing for the party, and I cooked all this damn food!" She waved to the counters that was full of various-sized dishes covered in aluminum foil.
I had to chuckle at the theatrics. "I told her that, but she insisted I don't come empty-handed."
"You should've came with my nephews." Landin emerged sipping from his red solo cup, D and Zay following behind him.
"Awnnn I wish Lee and the babies could've come." D pouted poking out her bottom lip as she leaned against the counter.
"She said she's sorry she couldn't make it." I lied.
Lee had no desire to come to the Super Bowl party Zay and Aniyah was throwing for multiple reasons. For one, she ain't into sports, and two, the twins was still too young for her to be leaving the house.
I begged and pleaded with her to come but she refused, claiming that even if she wanted to she wouldn't feel right leaving the twins with my mama or her grandparents while they were still so young.
"It's ok, just show me some pictures of the lil ones so I can feel better." Aniyah gushed as she came over to me.
The gang huddled around while I scrolled through my phone showing various photos of the boys doing any and everything. My niggas gave me props on my mini-me's and the girls kept ooouuing and ahhing at every picture.
"Damn, I miss when E-money was that small." My bro sighed taking another swig from his cup.
I peeped D slightly rolling her eyes as she walked away towards the stove to make a plate. Before I had time to respond the game announcer's voice was heard signaling that the game was back on.
We all took a seat in the living room getting comfortable as we watched the game. It was a very tense and long game against the Chiefs and the Eagles. We had been neck and neck almost the whole time and the whole room seemed to go still as we locked in to see what happens.
"Yes!" Zay roared and picked up a screaming Aniyah, twirling her around as they celebrated the victory.
I had just now noticed that they were matching. From the hats down to the cherry Jordan 11s they wore.
"Since when you been into football?" I questioned seeing Aniyah's prissy ass get excited over the game.
Once her feet were back on the floor she turned to me fixing her jersey and flipping her loose curls over her shoulder.
