Lee's POV

"Ahhh! Santa got me a princess bike!" Caiden screamed as she climbed onto the toy.

"That's pretty Cai Cai." I smiled from my seat on the floor.

"Can you ride it though?" Lester teased from behind his phone which he held up, recording the morning.

Lester and LJ got hype watching Caiden as she eventually got control of the peddles and slowly rode into the kitchen. She managed to turn around and come back to join the rest of us.

I had LJ in my lap as we continued. Legend wasn't interested so we placed him into his walker where he was rolling around us as we opened more presents.

Junior got excited and started beating the box before I could fully get the wrapping paper off. "Dang, boy!" I snickered.

"He said stop playing you taking too long." Lester joked as he looked between us and Caiden.

I finally got all the paper off to reveal a toy Elmo phone. "Oouu!" I exclaimed getting Junior's attention.

"What's that dada?" Lester asked inspecting the toy.

"A phone so you can talk to mommy and daddy when we not here!" I spoke in my shocked baby tone.

"Yay!" He clapped while I stood him up between my legs.

I put the phone up to his ear where he squirmed away at first but he eventually held it in place.

"Say hello?" I encouraged as I held mine up to my ear as well.

He giggled wildly at me before he started to drool so I quickly grabbed a napkin to wipe his mouth.

"Yo hand look so pretty with my ring on it." I looked up to see Lester biting his lip while eyeing me.

"I can't stop looking at it." I gushed looking at my hand in disbelief.

I kept replaying last night's events in my head over and over again. I was completely blindsided. Lester and I have had multiple conversations about getting engaged but I always had no idea when. At one point I was convinced he was going to propose soon, but months had passed so I wasn't thinking about it anymore.

But no matter when he proposed, I knew I was gonna say yes. I love Lester with every fiber in my being, I couldn't fathom being with anyone else. Things were looking great for us and I was beyond excited to see what our future as a married couple would be like.

"I'm glad you like it. I spent so much time tryna make sure I got the perfect ring, that's why it took me so long to pop the question."

"You know you could've proposed to me with a ring pop and I would still say yes." I replied truthfully.

"Nah you deserve better than that." He caressed my thigh.

He stared at me in admiration until I faltered under his gaze, looking away to pull Legend closer to me. "Will you be good and open some presents for Mama?"

He reached for me letting me know he wanted out of the walker. I got him to open a few toys before he got fixated on a play set with a basketball hoop. He became enamored with the little basketball and started tossing it with Lester and Caiden.

I stood up to go to the bathroom but I couldn't take two steps before LJ was whining for me. He tossed his phone and reached for me. "I'll be right back dada."

"Ma!" He started to tear up so I instantly gave in.

I smacked my teeth seeing his eyes dry up as soon as he was on my hip. I could never tell if it was just attached or what but it seemed like my boys were just little master manipulators in the making. They got that shit from Lester.
