Lee's POV

"So I'm invited?" Lester asked as we pulled into the parking lot.

"Of course." I grinned. "Why wouldn't you be invited to the baby shower?"

He shrugged. "Ion know. I just thought since we wasn't on the best of terms that it wasn't an option."

"Damn, I'm not that evil." I replied taking off my seatbelt.

"Nah I'm just saying. If I was you I wouldn't let me come." He spoke as we climbed out of the car.

"I'm not you."

We walked inside the mechanic shop and I stood next to Lester as he conversed with the lady at the front desk. We were finally picking up my car.

Lester originally was just going to buy me a new battery to replace mine but the mechanic let him know something was going on with the motor. I tried to pay for it myself but I was lowkey glad he refused to let me do so. I needed to be saving all my money right now.

After he ordered the motor we agreed he would be my chauffeur for the past two weeks. He's done a good job and getting me to and from work on time and we've now had two successful trips to the doctor's office for my appointments.

The past month has been smooth sailing. I was afraid that after his treatment Lester wouldn't be the same and I was right, he was better. Although our conversations mostly revolved around the twins, we still had our moments where it was almost like old times. We would just sit and laugh at silly shit.

After sitting and talking for what seemed like an eternity, they let us know my car was finally ready. I got my keys and was walking with Lester over to where it was parked in the parking lot when I heard my name being called out. Me and Lester both turned looking confused as hell.

"Hey! Taleeyah is it?"

"Hey!" I smiled remembering his face.

It was the mover who moved me into my apartment. Maybe I just wasn't paying attention at the time but this man was fine with his tall muscular frame, deep waves, and dark chocolate skin. I had to clench my thighs to stop the waterfalls I felt coming on.

"How you doing girl?" He caught me off guard with his quickness to hug me but I accepted it either way.

"I'm fine." I nodded fixing my sweatshirt.

"Well, I see." He glanced down at my belly. "Congratulations."

"Preciate it." Lester's deep voice filled my ears.

"My apologies, I'm Nigel." He held his hand out but Lester just stared at him until he awkwardly put it down.

"Well anyways." He returned his attention to me. "If you need me to move any baby furniture or anything then you can always call. You still got my business card right?"

I nodded before Lester spoke again. "She straight."

He wrapped his arm securely around my shoulder and my immediate response was supposed to be to move it. But I didn't want to. I couldn't help the smirk that formed on my face as I realized he was jealous.
