Hey children, I cooked up another bonus for you so eat up! Same deal as the last couple times: non-canon fluffy nothingness that's designed to give you stress-free alone time with the skele in question, and as always, you can skip if it's not of interest to you. They're a non-serious time that breaks the 4th wall to help you differentiate between canon and non, and I hope you enjoy! <3

An inhuman screech made (Y/n)'s hair stand on end, and she bolted to the master bedroom to throw open the door. Slash was pushed into the far corner of the bed, trembling with fear as he stared wide eyed at the scariest thing in the entire world. "Kill it!" he yelped, cowering as far away from it on the bed as he possibly could. (Y/n) sighed tiredly as she walked over to it, scooping the spider up in her hands as she looked down at the demon, unimpressed. "What are you doing?!" His shaking got noticeably worse. "It's going to kill you!"

"It's a jumping spider, Slash." The tiny little spider was downright adorable, with big black eyes and a bright green and orange back, reminding (Y/n) of the demon cowering in the corner. Her foot brushed something on the floor and she looked down at it before frowning. "Did you throw your controller at it?"

"Well I couldn't blast it with my Gaster Blaster," he protested, his voice trembling like his bones. She sighed before tossing the video game controller back to Slash, which he took after a long moment of hesitation—like he was weighing the chances of dying by moving an inch closer to the spider in her hands. "Can you please get it out of here?" His voice rose an octave, making it high pitched and squeaky, and (Y/n) tilted her head at him. He was much stronger than the tiny jumping spider, as even a human could step on it and not realize, so why on earth was a demon afraid of an arachnid?

"He's cute," she mumbled, watching the spider crawl around on her hand. It was so tiny the fangs wouldn't even break her skin—not that it would bite her. Spider bites were rare and simply avoiding making the spider feel crushed or trapped meant you could even handle black widows. Basically just don't make them claustrophobic and they won't be driven to bite to survive.

The spider looked up at (Y/n) with its big 'ol black eyes, its front legs up in a salute. There wasn't a single thought behind those eyes. She smiled down at it. "Do you want uppies?" It stuck its front legs more adamantly up in the air, and she pointed her finger at it so her nail was an inch from its face. It grabbed her finger, climbing up onto it and hanging upside down as it continued looking at her. She'd heard jumping spiders were adorable but this little guy was the cutest thing ever.

"What are you doing?" Slash squeaked, terror still having him seized by the throat.

(Y/n) looked up with surprise. "Right, sorry, I forgot." She walked over to the bookshelf to put it in the vault, and once she returned, Slash was trying to get comfortable on the bed once again like his life hadn't flashed before his eyes. She'd set him up with a video game and sweets per his request—the food to restore his health and video game to make him feel better—and he'd recovered rather well all things considered, but she wanted to make sure not only his physical body was in prime condition but his mind was too. "Are you alright?" She sat down on the bed beside him as he did his best to focus on the game, his hands still shaking on the controller. She wanted to massage his tense muscles but she wasn't really sure how she could considering, well, he was a skeleton.

"I'm fine. The room's just...darker than I like," he said finally, glancing up at her with an attempt at a smile. Her heart went out to him, and she reached out to flick on the lamp beside the bed and turned to watch him play his game. She rested her crossed arms on his back, leaning her body over his and placing her chin on his skull. She wasn't Dream but her presence still did the trick to relax him, and while his shaking didn't let up, it slowly ebbed away.
