I walked out of Meursault with Fyodor.

"My, my, what a beautiful night." He said, "Perfect. The beautiful, starry sky gives a glorious tribute to the end of Dazai's life. That shot in the head he received was so satisfying."

I looked up at the sky.

"Goal! And the first one who makes it to the finish line is...Fyodor!" Nikolai cheered. "It's absolutely fantastic! My very best friend, everyone! So damn awesome." He then noticed me. "Oh, you brought her too?"

"I'm not killing her." Fyodor spoke plainly, "Her ability is useful. Besides, she has a child on the way."

"Oh, uh, congratulations. Boy or girl? If it's a boy, name him by yours truly. Actually, either way, name the kid after me."

Before I could answer, Fyodor spoke, "The thing, please."

"The thing?" He reached into his undercoat, pulling out the case that contained the antidote, "You mean this thing?" He opened the case to reveal it.

Fyodor reached for it, but Nikolai closed it.

"But before that, may I ask you a question?" Nikolai began spinning the case in one hand, "Turns out Dazai was able to able to use his pulse to encode messages to the outside. What method were you using to communicate?"

"It's an extremely simple method." He answered, looking over is shoulder. "I used them."

I turned my head to see guards walking towards us. One took off their helmet, revealing they were a vampire.

"I see." Nikolai said, "You had accomplices within the Meursault security forces. Now," He held out the case for him. "The antidote is yours."

"Indeed." Fyodor said as he walked towards the helicopter. I walked behind him.

"Hm?" Nikolai looked at us. "Aren't you going to inject the antidote?"

"I'll take it in the helicopter." Fyodor replied.

As we stopped, he moved his hand to the handle of the door.

Huh?

I looked at him, noticing he was thinking about something.

He looked at his bandaged hand which was injured. I looked at it as well.

What is he thinking about?

"Any chance you can fly a helicopter?" He asked me.

"No experience." I told him.

"I can't fly the helicopter with my injuries." Fyodor looked behind him, showing his hand, "Please, take the stick for me."

~Time Skip~
The helicopter's rotor blades spun as I sat beside Fyodor. I was to his left, which was closest to Nikolai, who was standing outside of the helicopter.

"By the way, what became of Sigma?" Nikolai asked.

"He behaved quite bravely." He looked at him, "However, he'll never awaken again."

Oh, I actually feel bad for Sigma. Hopefully, he'll be fine.

"Those who oppose you always seem to meet an untimely demise. Oh. What happens to you now? What's your next move look like?"

"I'm going to do just as you said."

"Huh?"

"To start things off, you tried to kill me, so you will die too." An evil smirk was on Fyodor's face.

"I like it." Nikolai smirked back, turning around as he held his hat, "I can see there will be a new game between the two of us."

I looked from Nikolai to Fyodor, "Where exactly are we going-" My eyes grew wide. The antidote fell out of the helicopter.
