Chapter 6

I typed on my computer.

I have been in the Armed Detective Agency for a week.

It's not that bad.

I sit in the seat Atsushi was supposed to be in... I'm sure he'll get another seat.

"Oh, great. I have to go on a few errands for the president. If anyone needs me, call my number." Yosano said and walked out.

"L/n." Kunikida said.

I looked up at him.

"You're going on your first job."

"I am?" I said.

"Yes. If you go to the police station, someone will inform you on the case."

I nodded.

~Time Skip~
"Alright, Finch. I'm on my first official job!" I exclaimed.

He was on my shoulder and we were walking down Yokohama.

Finch yawned, "Seems boring.."

Me and Finch have been practicing my ability. I'm getting good at it. I just haven't tried it on someone.

I spotted the police station.

I walked inside the police station. I walked over to the front desk.

"Can I help you?" Someone looked at me.

"I'm Y/n L/n. I'm here for a job."

"So you're L/n." I heard someone say.

I turned around and saw Minoura. "Yes, that's me."

~Time Skip~
Me and Minoura were in his office. He was showing me some files.

"The job is about a gang. People say they have a code that can open a vault where some hostages are trapped. Recently, my other men have confronted them and died."

I gulped.

"The gang is called the white lion. Odd name.. I know. They've killed many people and are holding the hostages for a ransom. The hostages are part of some organization... We're not sure want. We want you on the case."

I nodded.

"I'm sure you can handle it."

"Yes sir." I smiled, "I got this. Any places to help me find them?"

"There's another gang that hangs out at a bar. They like to say they own it. They know the gang who is holding the hostages."

I nodded.

"Here's the address of the bar." He wrote on a sticky note and gave it to me.

I was walking with Finch.

"So.. we go into the bar?" Finch said.

I gulped, "Yup... We're gonna die.."

"No. You got your ability.. and me.. we can survive.. hopefully.."

I see the bar and walk inside.

Inside the bar were booths and men drinking.. most of them looked drunk.

The room was silent once they saw me.

"....You're on your own." Finch got in my bag.

"Who are you?" One of the men asked.

"Detective Y/n L/n. Who's in charge here?" I asked.

"That would be me." Someone said.

I looked at him.
