Chapter 64

"Y/n! They cannot just-"

"What? I gave them baths."

"Shouldn't you just go to bed and stop focusing on them?" Chuuya asked me.

I was on the bed playing with the puppies. I was in my pajamas. "Just give me 5 more minutes.."

"You have work tomorrow."

"So? C'mere, Choco!"

The one named Choco barked.

I have already named all 5 of them. There was Choco who was a boy, Shiloh who was a girl, Scout who was a girl, Cheeto (It was Finch's idea) who was a boy, and Rover who was a boy (Chuuya's idea).

Choco had a brown spot on one eye, Shiloh had a white fade at the end of her paws, Scout had a brown fade at the end of her paws, Cheeto had a white fade at the end of his tail, Rover had brown at the end of his ears.

Shiloh crawled over to Chuuya's lap. Chuuya pet her head, "Y/n."

"Fine, fine.." I sighed and laid down under the covers.

The other 3 got on my stomach. Choco crawled to Chuuya's arm.

"Y/n, are they even potty trained?"

"...I don't know."

Chuuya groaned.

~The Next Day~
I slowly opened my eyes to see Scout licking my face.

I sat up and noticed something on the edge of the bed.

.....I'm gonna hurry and leave the house before Chuuya sees that and makes me clean it up.

I realized besides Scout, all of the other puppies were snuggling against Chuuya. Chuuya was holding onto Cheeto.

I smiled.

I knew he couldn't resist them.

~Time Skip~
I placed the note on the nightstand. put on my grey boots and grabbed my glasses from the nightstand. I put them on and walked to the door. I noticed Scout running over to me.

"No.. I gotta go. I love you, I'll see you later."

She tilted her head.

Aw, that's adorable.

I closed the door behind me. I heard her whine and scratch the door.

I walked over to Finch's room, "C'mon, Finch! We're going!"

Finch groaned.

~Time Skip~
I walked inside Mori's office with Finch on my shoulder.

"Ah, L/n. You're here right on time."

"Yes, sir." I stopped in front of his desk.

"As we talked yesterday, you'd only be doing the jobs for today. I made you a list on the assignments." Mori handed me a few papers. "The extra papers are just background information of the jobs."

"Yes sir.."

"Here's this," Mori handed me a white paper with blue ink on it, "It's called the Silver Oracle. Show this to any member of the Port Mafia, and they'll do as you say."

"Yes sir." I took the white paper and slipped it into one of the pockets inside my coat.

"I'll see you in the evening once they are carried out."

I nodded.

"You're excused."

I walked out of the office. I looked at the papers, "The first job is... To check if the illegal ammunition was delivered on time."
