Chapter 112

I was standing in between Atsushi and Kyouka. We were in an alleyway.

Ango and Lucy were in front of us.

Ango pushed up his glasses, "The main objective of our mission, is to prevent any other terrorist attacks prior to the other side of the page being filled in. As well as covering said page and retrieving the page's location. But as wanted criminals can't act in plain sight, that's where her special ability comes in." He gestured to Lucy.

Lucy smiled.

"Lucy will place the 3 of you in Anne's room. Which you will be able to infiltrate undetected. Therefore, Lucy will be considered the heart of our operation."

Lucy put her hands on her hips, "You heard him, didn't you?" She walked over to us, "Right, tiger kitty? I believe I want you to say thank you." She put her hand to her ear.

"...Sorry." Atsushi told her.

"Hm?" She moved her hand away from her ear with a curious expression, "Why are you apologizing?"

"For getting you mixed up in this. Cooperating with us right now is the crime of aiding and abetting fugitives. I don't think we can repay you enough for your help."

"Why not? If I'm not mistaken, I think I'm the one paying an impossibly huge debt right now, aren't I?"

"Huh?"

There was a long silence.

Suddenly, Lucy's face went red. She waved her hands in front of him, "Nevermind! Nevermind! Forget I said anything! I'm begging you to forget this whole thing-"

"It's time to go." Ango cut in.

Lucy made a few ahems. "W-well, it's time to go." She snapped her fingers.

A yellow light formed around us and we were transported inside Anne's room. Anne grabbed us by the back of our shirts. She had Atsushi in one hand and Kyouka and I in her other.

We all looked at each other.

"I really do hope this plan will work.." Atsushi mumbled.

"I'm sure it's going to." I assured him.

"It has to." Kyouka said.

Atsushi nodded.

There was another long silence.

"...Guys." I broke the silence.

They looked at me.

"I just want to tell you two, that I didn't have such a bad time cooperating with the Agency again.. Thank you for letting me help."

Kyouka looked at me and smiled slightly.

Atsushi smiled, "We're happy you helped, L/n."

We were transported out of Anne's room.

We were in a room.

It was a bedroom.

Lucy looked at us, "We should wait here for now."

We nodded.

"Have you seen Sigma yet?" I asked her.

"No. I haven't."

Atsushi sat down on the bed. He was looking down.

We stood there and waited in silence.

We were still standing there as Atsushi was sitting down on the bed as Kyouka sat on a couch beside the bed. Lucy and I stood across from Kyouka, leaning against a dresser.
