Chapter 16

~Y/n's Pov:~
I felt a hand tap my shoulder, I opened my eyes and saw Chuuya.

"Take a shower. You can go back to sleep later."

I groaned. "Alright.."

~Time Skip~
I walked out of the bathroom and saw Chuuya. He was at his desk. I sighed and was about to tell him to get a break from work, until I noticed there was no papers on his desk.

Huh?

"Hey, Nakahara.. What are you doing? You're just staring at the desk.." I mumbled.

"....I'm getting the day off tomorrow, so there's really nothing for me to do.."

"Then, why don't you do whatever you want right now?"

He looked at me.

~Time Skip~
Me and Chuuya were on his bed sipping wine.

"Wow." I said.

"What? Is something wrong?"

"I have never liked wine in my entire life."

"Hey! Let me in the party!" Finch said.

No, go away.

I sipped the wine again. I then just starting chugging it.

"Wha- what are you doing?!" He said.

"Huh?" I said as he took the glass from my hand.

"You sip it so you can enjoying the flavor of it! Not chug it all down and get drunk!"

"Oh.."

"Here." He put my glass to my lips.

I felt my face begin to burn. I felt butterflies in my stomach.

He moved his hand so I could take a sip of the wine. He pulled the glass away. "About that much of a sip, alright?"

He gave the glass to me. My face was still burning. "Alright.."

~Time Skip~
I sipped my 3rd glass. I started feeling a bit dizzy.

I'll ignore it. I'm fine.

Chuuya sipped his glass.

"So, what do you usually do in the Mafia?" I asked.

"Same as usual, go on jobs, work in my office, go to meetings, it's really nothing."

"Oh. Wow. Might actually be more interesting than my job."

"What do you detectives even do?"

"My god, most days for me are boring." I sighed. "All I usually do is stay in the office and type dumb reports. And then there's Ranpo who gets to go on a fun job almost everyday! All I have to entertain myself is annoying Kunikida if I ever feel like it, seeing Yosano, but she only shows me her cool tools and she keeps offering to give me treatment.., and playing with Finch. Really boring.."

"How's that suicidal maniac?"

"Dazai? Annoys Kunikida a lot. Loves suicide. Almost everyday he asks me for a double suicide.. But he's very intelligent to be honest. Besides him being all annoying and singing his suicide song, he's a good worker."

"Pfft. I knew he'd still be into suicide."

"Huh? You knew him before?" I asked.

"You can say we have a very long lasting hatred for each other."

"Oh. Now that you say it, I can see you both hating each other. Anyway, favorite animal?"

"Dogs."
