Chapter 30

Soon, Dazai got Chuuya's hat and coat and threw them at us. Thankfully, Finch caught them.

We were walking away from the scene. Chuuya was on my back.

We were now walking through the woods.

Finch was on my head. Chuuya's hat was over his head and Chuuya's black coat was over my right shoulder.

He's actually not that heavy..

Chuuya was snoring and leaning his forehead against my left shoulder.

~Time Skip~
"That was such a long walk.." I mumbled while using my left hand to unlock my apartment door. I opened it and closed it. I locked my door.

Finch yawned and flew off my head. He still had Chuuya's hat covering his head.

I walked to my bedroom and laid Chuuya on my bed. I looked at him.

He was still snoring.

I grabbed his black coat hanging over my shoulder and folded it. I placed it on my nightstand.

"Finch!" I looked at my bedroom door.

Finch flew in the room with Chuuya's hat in his beak. I took it from his mouth once he landed on my shoulder and placed it on his folded black coat.

I looked at Chuuya.

He's injured pretty bad..

"Finch. Go get me a cup and a pitcher full of water."

"W-what? How do I-"

"Figure it out."

He sighed and flew out of the room.

I walked to my bathroom and grabbed a medkit. I walked to Chuuya and placed the medkit beside him on the bed.

I heard Finch squawking and exclaiming in panic. I'm sure he'll figure it out with a beak and two talons.. hopefully.

I opened the medkit and grabbed a rag. I went to the bathroom. I put it under the sink and got it wet. I walked back to Chuuya and wiped the blood off his face.

Finch flew into the room and held a cup with his talons. He placed it on the nightstand beside Chuuya's black coat and hat and flew out of the room.

Once I wiped all of Chuuya's blood from his face, I moved some of his hair to where I could see his forehead. There was a huge bruise, beside it was a deep cut spilling out blood.

I grabbed the wet rag and wiped the blood, I grabbed one of those large bandages and put it on his wound.

I heard Finch exclaiming in panic again. I ignored his shouting.

I took his black cropped jacket off of him and noticed something red bleeding through the white button up shirt under his vest.

I took the vest off of him and saw blood. I grabbed his fedora and put his vest on top of his black coat. I put his fedora back on the nightstand.

Damnit.. how bad is he really bleeding?

Was it because of that duel me and John had and that Dazai had to wait till the end of the duel to ask me to save Chuuya?

That duel must've made Chuuya spend more time hurting himself during Corruption..

Wait.. how could Dazai not be able to cancel Chuuya's ability? Did something happen? Could he be lying?

I sighed and realized I would have to unbutton Chuuya's shirt to fix his wounds.

I sighed again and started unbuttoning his shirt.
