I slowly opened my eyes, only for them to widen.

I stood up and looked around. I saw a Partygoer. They were staring at me.

How am I here? I lost Finch... And..

My eyes widened and began watering as I remembered.

The Partygoer must've sensed my pain or something, because they began walking over to me. They stopped in front of me. My eyes widened whenever they gently wiped a tear in my eye.

My eyes softened as I looked down with watery eyes.

I then looked to my left and my eyes widened once again.

Finch was standing there.

"Y/n." He said.

I ran over to him, got on my knees, grabbed him, and hugged him tightly.

He choked by how hard I was squeezing him,
"Y-y/n!"

I started sobbing again, "Chuuya's dead!"

Finch's eyes widened, "He's what?"

I only continued crying.

I was staring down at the table with dead eyes.

We were at a party table in Level Fun. Finch was sitting across from me.

I had stopped crying.

A few moments of silence between us passed. I had already told him what had been happening in Meursault.

"Y/n, I don't have that much time with you in here."

"What?" My eyes widened a little and I looked at him.

"My body is still all the way in Yokohama with Lucy. It took forever to connect with your mind. I only got us a bit of time. Let's not waste it with awkward silence... So..Chuuya drowned?"

I looked away with a sad expression. I tried to not cry, "I just wanna die.."

"Y/n, don't say that.. You-"

"OH, SHUT UP!" I looked and shouted at him angrily.

His eyes widened.

"CHUUYA WAS ALL I HAD LEFT, AND HE DIED!"

"I-I'm alive though.."

"I don't care!" I sobbed. I then realized what I said, "W-wait.."

"..It's okay. You're just grieving.."

I looked down, "...His eyes were different."

"I know. That's because he was turned into a vampire."

"What?!" I looked at Finch.
