Chapter 41

I walked down the hallway with my arms crossed. I was staring at the ground with watery eyes.

I can't believe him...

I felt something land on my shoulder.

"Are you alright, Y/n?" I heard Finch say.

"Not now, Finch.. Please.."

My eyes watered more.

I hate when people point out that I'm so jumpy.. it's not my fault... I can't help it..

I continued walking down the hallway.

"If you want to just act like we hate each other, why don't we make that a reality?!"
{Flashback Over}
I didn't mean to make him mad... I was just upset.. I didn't mean it..

Why? Why can't I just shut my mouth?

I end up hurting others..

My eyes watered more. A tear fell down my face.

I suddenly felt a hand grab my face and cover my mouth. My eyes widened. I heard Finch shout my name.

My vision went black.

~No One's Pov:~
Chuuya walked away from the Agency's building into a nearby alleyway. He grabbed a cigarette packet from his coat and grabbed a cigarette. He pulled out a lighter and lit the cigarette.

He sighed and put it to his mouth. He leaned against the wall beside him and stared at the ground. Chuuya blew out smoke, "Damnit.." He sighed.

He looked to his left and noticed something at the end of the alleyway.

A black car.

He stared at it.

Suddenly, he saw someone appear from behind one of the walls in the alleyway carrying someone over their shoulder.

Chuuya's eyes widened a little as he leaned away from the wall, "Wait.." He walked closer to where the car was.

His eyes widened whenever he saw who the mysterious person was holding, "Y/N!" He started running over to the black car.

Suddenly, Chuuya couldn't move. He fell to the ground.

~Chuuya's Pov:~
I fell to the ground. I looked at the black car.

I can't use my ability, damnit! What the hell?!

"Y/N!" I shouted.

The black car drove past me, out of the alleyway.

WHAT WAS SHE DOING THERE?!

Mori sat at his desk. He looked at Elise who was sitting on his desk while drawing.

"What are you drawing now, Elise?" Mori looked at her.

"None of your business." Elise said calmly while drawing.

Mori looked at her drawing. "L/n's ability?"

"Her bird named Finch." Elise grabbed a purple crayon.

"But that's your 3rd drawing of him this week!"

"So? Go bother someone else."

Mori sighed and looked at the papers on his desk, "Akutagawa should be back with his report any minute now-"

Suddenly, the door burst open. "BOSS!" Chuuya shouted.

Mori's eyes widened a little in surprise, "Chuuya? What's the commotion about?"

"It's Y/n! Sh-she was kidnapped!" Chuuya said quickly, "A-a black car took her and-"

"Miss Y/n?!" Elise looked up.

"What?" Mori said.

"I-I got into an argument with her and then I was in an alleyway and then th-there was a black car and I couldn't use my ability, and then-"

"A kidnapping? On L/n?" Mori's eyes widened a bit more. "And you said you were unable to use your ability?"

"Y-yes!"

"Hm.." Mori then stood up. "New plan for today, call the other executives for a meeting."

~Y/n's Pov:~
I slowly opened my eyes.

What happened?

Wait, what?!

I was sitting while leaning against the wall behind me. My hands were chained to the wall while my legs were chained to the ground.

"Y/n! Y/n!" I heard a familiar voice shout.

I looked up and saw Finch in a cage. "F-finch? W-what's going on?"

"I didn't get to see who knocked you unconscious, they did the same to me."

I noticed my hands were also chained to the wall. I couldn't move my fingers at all.

"Damnit... I can't snap my fingers to make you disappear.. I would've made you reappear on my shoulder.." I mumbled.

I noticed a wheel near the window at the end of the room.

What?

There was also controls near the wheel.

"Are we on..a boat?" I looked at Finch.

"Yeah.."

"Are you kidding me?!" I shouted at Finch. "Am I being sold to the black market-"

"Indeed you are, L/n." I heard a familiar voice say.

My eyes widened. I looked at the person walk through the door.

"Maybe don't trust others so easily." Hinode smirked as he walked inside.
