Chapter 29

I heard Kunikida and Dazai talking about something near the couches. I ignored them and spun in my desk.

We were back at the Agency's office. I was in my seat bored. Finch was playing with Kenji, and Ranpo was probably in the kitchen..

Yosano walked over to me, "You bored, L/n?"

"Very." I looked at her. "Also, feel free to call me Y/n."

She smiled, "Well then, Y/n. Feel free to call me Akiko."

I smiled back.

"Well, if you bored, you can always look at the footage from the tunnels in that unknown location we were at. I was pretty bored myself, maybe you can somehow entertain yourself."

"Yeah, why not?"

She set a laptop in front of me and I grabbed a pair of white earbuds. I plugged them in the laptop and placed an earbud in my ear. I played the footage.

Yosano was already walking away.

On the footage, there was 9 small screens. Those must've been the other cameras.

"WHY ARE YOU THE ONE ARRANGING THIS MEETING?!" I heard Kunikida shout.

"Because," I heard Dazai say. "I used to be with the Port Mafia."

There was a long silence.

Is Kunikida alright..?

I noticed someone walking down the tunnels in the footage.

OH MY GOD! IT'S HIM!

It was Chuuya walking down the tunnels in one of the screens.

He looked at the camera and smirked as the rest went off.

CHUUYA?!

He kept walking until 3 red dots were pointing at him.

I watched him very closely.

Three of the screens went off.

Chuuya was looking at the screen. "You must be short staffed if you're letting these machines handle someone like me. C'mon, give me a real challenge."

I was smiling at the screen while making a small squealing noise.

I was fighting with everything I had to not squeal so loud.

HE LOOKS SO HOT I SWEAR! HIS VOICE IS SO ATTRACTIVE! I COULD SIMP FOR HIM ALL DAY AND NIGHT! HOW CAN HE HAVE SUCH A HOT VOICE WITHOUT EVEN TRY-

"Whatcha looking at?" Ranpo was bending over while looking over my shoulder smirking.

I immediately closed the laptop, "NO ONE!" I shouted in panic as heat rushed to my face.

DAMNIT!

"Well, if you can't see him in your dreams since Kunikida yells at you for sleeping, might as well see him in footage!" He said while standing up completely.

"N-no! I-I, u-uh.. I-I-"

"So he's your little prince charming!~

"N-no! I.."

"You're even stuttering out of embarrassment and panic!" He smiled brightly. He bent down to my level with his eyes open. "I could get you with him if you want."

"W-wait, you can-"

"Just kidding!" He stood up completely again and closed his eyes, "You really do like him!"

"Sh-shut up!" I stuttered. "I don't wanna hear a single word about-"

"What are we talking about?" Kunikida walked over to us while sighing. He was scratching the back of his head.
