Kabanata 06 - Gayle Uchika Diaz
Hingal na hingal na ako pero siya ay parang wala man lang ginawa. Mabilis ako pero mas mabilis siya. I could even feel that he's not giving his all! Ilang beses niya na ako kamuntikang matamaan but he always stop. Isang beses niya lang akong natamaan.
"You good?", tanong nito sa akin kaya napatingin ako sa mukha niya. I am sweating a lot like tumutulo na ang mga pawis ko galing sa mukha ko pero siya kahit isang butil ng pawis wala! Like how the hell is that?
"Let's take a break, you looked like you're about to collapse. You're good but your stamina is too low.", aniya saka naglakad papunta kina Lander na may dala-dalang towel at bote ng tubig.
Binigyan naman nila ito na siyang tinanggap niya naman saka umupo. He's now staring at me again. That same blank stare that he's giving when we're at his office. Ibinaling ko naman ang atensyon kina Lander na papalit sa akin.
"It's fine, Gayle. You're like faster than most of our men, like 80%?", pampapagaan ni Lander sa loob ko pero mas lalo lang akong sumimangot.
"Kung malungkot ka dahil sa hindi mo siya matamaan, h'wag kang mag-alalala kahit isa sa amin had never done that.", sabi naman ni Faison kaya napatingin ako dito.
"He's too good in this kind of thing, Gayle. That's why most people avoid him in training like this. There's one time where he needs to defeat twenty men with no weapons at all.", kwento niya.
"Most of the men ended up losing their limbs or have been paralyzed forever. He's trying his best not to kill people so he mastered combating without weapons even though he could easily snap anyone's neck with his bare hands.", dagdag niya pa kaya hindi ko mapigilang hindi mamangha.
"Siya lang ba ang ganyan?", tanong ko kina Faison kaya napatingin ito sa akin.
"Na boss? Na ayaw pumatay?", tumango naman sila.
"They even have a nickname for him, 'the saint'.", sagot sa akin ni Lander kaya napatango ako.
"But he also has his fair share of killings, if someone has crossed the line he won't hesitate on ending their lives.", naglakad naman kami papalapit dito.
"Anong nangyayari if he already flipped?", tanong ko sa kanila kaya napasulyap mga ito sa akin.
"It's gonna be bloodbath.", dali-dali naman silang umupo sa may left side nito at tatabi na sana ako sa kanila nang umiling naman ang mga ito saka ininguso iyong kabilang side. Napabuntong hininga nalang tuloy ako saka tumungo roon.
I sat not that far from him pero hindi rin ganun kalapit. Nanginginig pa rin ang katawan ko dahil sa pagod. This is really a sign for me to start training once again. Bubuksan ko sana ang bottled water pero hindi ko mabuksan dahil sa tila ba nawalan ng lakas ang mga kamay ko. May humablot naman nito sa kamay ko. Napatingin naman ako dito nang binuksan niya ito para sa akin. Napatitig tuloy ako sa kanya.
"Thank you.", sambit ko saka kinuha sa kanya ang bote. I could feel their six freaking eyes gawking at me. Pero hindi ko nalang iyon pinansin.
"Let's just continue the physical combat tomorrow. After lunch, let's check if you have a good aim.", sabi nito saka tumayo at sinenyasan naman nito sina Faison kaya agad naman silang dalawa tumayo.
"I have some things to do, let's just meet here again later.", aniya bago umalis. Nagtinginan naman kaming tatlo.
"Let's get our lunch in the kitchen, baka tamarin ka na bumaba mamaya. We'll also give you a tour in this floor.", sabi ni Faison kaya tumango ako saka tumayo.
"Don't worry about Aki, I'm pretty sure she's chatting with Deej. Let's go.", turan naman ni Lander saka nagsimulang maglakad. I don't know but I suddenly feel sleepy. Ang sarap humilata dito saka matulog.

"Is there an update with the Luezzo?", I asked one of my subordinates.
"Not yet, Sir. But they've mentioned that they have bought some weapons and ammunitions last week with the Gounters.", I stopped at my tracks and look at him.
"Isn't the Polidos their supplier?", he nodded.
"Sabi ng isang informant they had a misunderstanding which leads to one of the Polido's capo get killed.", what is the Luezzo doing? Are they planning on having some beef with everyone?
"Is that all?", tumango naman ito so I walked faster.
"I'll be back here after lunch so let's do this quickly.", there's a car already waiting for us by the entrance.
"Luigi", my driver has been with us even before I inherit this organization from my father. He's my father's right hand but then he told me that he still wants to have a position that has less work so I hired him as my driver.
"Is everything alright, Sir?", tanong nito pagkapasok ko sa kotse.
"Nothing, it's just someone who's acting up.", I answered so he nodded. I could see two cars tailing us.
"That's lot of body guards out there, Luigi.", sabi ko at umiling naman ito.
"I wasn't the one who ordered that, it was Cairo.", Cairo is the head of my security. He's his son.
"Like father, like son.", I muttered and I could see him smile from the rearview mirror.
"Are the two still in there?", bahagya naman akong nagulat dahil sa tanong nito.
"Everyone knows about it.", he added. Rumors do really fly fast.
"Yes, the Luezzo sill keeps on acting up. I believed that they're plotting something. I'm just waiting for their next move.", after I said that we travelled in silence. When we arrived, Cairo opened the door for me.
"You know that I have hands to open the door.", pero sa halip na sumagot ay nagkibit balikat lang ito. We entered the warehouse so I scanned the surroundings. At the corner, I saw someone bloody strapped in a chair.
"That's the rat?", I asked them and Cairo nodded.
"Forester", tawag ko dito kaya tumunghay ito. He recognized me and fear starts to creep in his eyes. I squat so our face would level. I smiled at him.
"You really won't talk, Forester?", I asked him before I gripped his jaw tightly.
"What do you want me to do? Break your jaw first or snapped your neck?", his body trembled as I said those words. He's acting tough earlier when my men were beating him.
"It was the Holters, they're the ones who asked me to spy on you.", I could feel that everyone felt the rage that has building up in me. Some of them took a step back from me.
"You told them about the two girls?", I asked him and he nodded his head.
And before he could react, I reached for the other chair beside him and smashed it his face a lot of times like a mad man. The insides of his brain splattered in the floor, some even have reached the wall behind him.
"Put that in a box and wrapped it like a gift. Send it back to the Holters.", I calmly said before I face them. Some of them are in shock for what they've witnessed. I believed they're the new recruits who haven't witnessed me losing my sh*t.
"Hang half of his body in the auditorium in the fotress, while the half hang it on the training grounds in the headquarters. Make sure everyone know what happened to that fvcking rat.", I ordered and a few of them nodded.
"And call Faison to get me a shirt when I arrived. The blood of this motherf*cker stinks.", Luigi offered me a handkerchief which I gladly took and wipe my face and arms. When I feel satisfied I looked again at them.
"Let's go.", ani ko at lumapit naman sa akin si Pavel, ang nagh-handle ng mga informant namin.
"Update me once the Polidos made their first move.", I told him before exiting the warehouse.
I'm pretty sure Forester wasn't the only rat here. Fvck those Luezzo!
