Chapter 8

I woke up and looked at the time. It was early still but I decided to get up. I looked at Isaac who was still sleeping. I went downstairs and helped George make breakfast.

"Daddy" Benny came running in
"Hey bud" George replied
"Mommy's taking me to see where babies come from" Benny yelled
We all looked at Benny
"What! Woah! No!" Kat said
I laughed as I was making my coffee. Lee came over and gave me a hug
"Goodmorning" Lee said
"Morning lee" I smiled
"You don't think he's too young for that?" George asked
"What? You're never too young to witness the miracle of a piglet birth" She replied
Isaac came downstairs and next to me
"Says you. I still cannot look at christmas ham the same way" He laughed
he kissed me on the lips and hugged me
"You know what Isaac? As soon as you're ready to go vegan I would love to introduce you to quinoa burgers" Kat replied
Isaac threw a piece of food in his mouth and pointed at Katherine
"No" he said walking away "i'm good"
"Thought so" Kat said
We both walked into the living room
"Are you still up for today?" Isaac asked
"Yea i'll just ignore Grace" I replied
He hugged me softly
We got ready and headed out

After the Cheerleaders performed. It was my turn to perform teeth by 5sos
"Go big horns! And without further ado welcome to the stage Nova Martinez" Mato said exiting the stage
Isaac grabbed the guitar and I grabbed the mic. Lee was gonna play the base
Isaac started playing the guitar and smiled at me

Hearing Isaac sing background was so hot. Just hearing his voice and hearing him hit all the notes was perfect. Lee was singing along too but Isaac's voice was just ughhhhhh. Plus seeing him playing the guitar was hot as hell. After we stopped the song everyone cheered. I looked at him and kissed him softly everyone continued cheering and I realized we just kissed in front of the whole town. Including Carlos and his girlfriend.
"That was hot" I said
"I was thinking the same thing" he replied
We got off the stage and went back to the cider cart
"You were so good up there!" Lupe said
"Yea you looked hot!" Cilla added
"Dude I wasn't expecting the kiss" Lupe said
"Oh yea sorry" Isaac said
"no worries" Lupe said
"We are pro pda" Cilla added
"I didn't know you guys were dating" Lupe said
"I meant to tell you but you guys are always busy with school and work" I said
"I'm happy for you guys" Lupe said
"Yea you make her happy" Cilla said
"She makes me happy too" Isaac said
They walked away and we heard
"You were so good up there" I saw Carlos girlfriend come up
"Taliah?" I looked at her
"Isaac you looked so good up there" She said looking at Isaac
"my girlfriend was the best up there" He said
"She was alright" She smirked
I felt my blood boiling as she tried flirting with MY boyfriend. She had Carlos
"You should play guitar for me sometime Isaac" She said fluttering her lashes
I was about to jump at her when Lee grabbed me and held me back
"Why so you could open your legs for
me like you did for half the school? I'm not interested in catching whatever you have. Plus you aren't even half the person my girlfriend is and I mean god look at her. You don't stand a chance next to her" he said grabbing me
He put his hand on my neck slightly and pulled me to his lips kissing me.
"Whatever. I still have Carlos" she said
"Keep him. Isaac's way better" I said
"Who was that bitch"
I turned around and smiled widely
"Isa!!!!" I yelled and hugged my cousin
"Hey Nov" She smiled hugging back
"babe and Lee this is my cousin Isabella. Her mom is the one who donated the dinner for 2" I smiled
"Her restaurant is so good" Lee yelled
"Yea we get free food" Isa said
"Hell yea we do" I smiled
"So who is the girl who's been watching you all day in the corner" Isa asked
I looked over and saw Grace
"My ex friend" I said
"What happened?" Isa asked
I explained everything to her but she knew about the Carlos part already
"I'm so sorry that happened" Lee said
"She's a bitch" Isa added
"I was talking about the Carlos thing but yea she is" Lee said
"Oh yea that" Isa replied
"We got her now" Isaac smiled
"So what are you doing here?" I asked
"I'm starting school with you next week" she said
"No way!!" I squealed
"I'm excited" She said
"Hey Nova can we talk?" Grace said
"She's not interested" Isaac said
"I was talking to her" Grace said
"Oh really? For once you're not obsessed with my boyfriend?" I snarked
"She's not interested" Isa said
"fine but don't come running back when he breaks your heart" Grace said
"How would you know you aren't even allowed to have a boyfriend" I said
she scoffed then walked away
"We should go sit by the lake and watch the sunset" Lee said
"I have covers in the car" I said
"I could go get some snacks from the tents selling" Isaac added
"I could grab some drinks from my moms tent" Isa said
"sounds like a plan" I said
"I'll help with the blankets" Lee said
We all went our separate ways and got the stuff and met up at the lake. I put down the blankets and some pillows. I laid down and waited for Isaac and Isabella.
"Hey nova?" Lee said
"Yea?" I responded
"Does any adult know about the thing with Carlos?" Lee asked
"No only you, Alex, Isaac and Isa know. I never spoke about it cause I was scared" I said
"You don't have to be scared we got you" Lee said hugging me
"are we interrupting something" Isa asked
"Not at all" Lee said
Isaac came over and kissed my head
"I know you don't like pizza so I got some sushi from your tias tent" he said
"Oh you're the best" I said
He handed me the sushi and I ate one
"mmmmm" I said
I gave him one too and he ate it
"that's so good" he said
He kissed me softly and we laid down
