I woke up in Jaydens arms with the sheet covering our bodies. I heard my phone ringing and groaned before looking over "Isaac?" I said half awake "Cole left us without the keys to the car and we have school" He yelled "I'll be over there in 5 minutes" I said "You're not going to school" Jayden said "I'm still gonna take them. Isaac asked "Why not" Alex added "I'm still supposed to be on bed rest until monday. I get a four day weekend but you needed help so I came over" I replied "Shit Nov of if I knew you weren't going to school I wouldn't have called you" Isaac frowned "It's okay Isaac really. It's nice having my best friend back" I replied "Don't let Lee hear you say that. He'll throw a fit" Jj laughed I laughed at his comment "I'm happy knowing when I leave he'll take care of you. It makes it easier" He looked at me "Wait what do you mean?" I asked "Nov im not gonna put you through long distance knowing i'm not gonna come back." He frowned "Why wouldn't you?" I asked "My dad found out my mom has been having an affair. They don't know I found out. Their deal is they'd stay together but we weren't allowed to come back here since the guy lives in this town" He said "I'll go visit you" I looked at him "You hate planes. Nov i'm not breaking up with you until my last second here. I'm gonna cherish our time left. I'm also not gonna put you through long distance cause I know it's stressful" He replied I looked over and kissed him sadly
The whole day I had been thinking about what Jayden said. What if I wanted to try long distance. On the other hand me and Isaac almost kissed yesterday and I knew I still had feelings for him. Maybe this was the best choice but i'd make sure I use my time wisely with Jayden before he left. I walked into my classes and got my homework and saw Alex walking around "Aren't you supposed to be with Jay?" I asked him "Came to get something" He smiled He showed me and I laughed. I saw Nathan walking towards us "Hey guys!" He smiled We talked for a bit then walked outside "Hey look who I found" Alex said "Nov how are you doing?" Skylar asked "I'm great" I smiled Isaac scooted over and I sat down "Did you eat before you came?" He asked "Not since breakfast" I said "Ima fight you." He frowned He looked into his bag and pulled out a granola bar and smiled at me "Now you have no excuse" He smiled I grabbed it groaning and saw Grace look at me while rolling her eyes. It had gotten a little chilly and I forgot my hoodie in Katherine's car. Isaac looked over at me and tapped my shoulder "You cold?" He asked "a bit but it's okay" I said He shook his head and took off his black sweater and gave it to me smiling "Here don't try arguing" He said I took it and put it on and continued watching Jackie. Grace looked over at me and saw me wearing Isaac's zip up "Babe i'm cold" She said "Sorry Grace. I don't have an extra hoodie" He said looking forward "I have a hoodie" Skylar said "I could just wear Sky's" I replied "No it's okay. Grace could wear it since you already have mine on" He said Grace angrily grabbed Skys hoodie and put it on. She glared at me scoffing
After the race we met up by my car. Grace tried inviting herself to Nathan and Skylars plans then Jackie and Alex's. Alex felt bad and caved letting her join "Isaac you should come with" Grace said "I actually can't." Isaac looked over "What why?" She furrowed her eyebrows "I told my aunt i'd help with her speech" He said scratching his neck I looked at him and raised an eyebrow. I knew he was lying but I didn't know why. Danny left early and Isa was with Lee so it was only me and Isaac left. He opened the car door for me before shutting it "Why did you lie to Grace?" I asked "I'm gonna be completely and totally honest with you and you can't laugh" He said getting into the drivers side "I can't promise I won't laugh but i'm interested so tell me" I smiled "We had sex a few weeks ago after Isa's party" He said starting the car "Okay?" I asked "She wants to get me alone so we could do it again" He said looking at me "Why is that a bad thing?
