Chapter 10

"What the hell is that?" Isaac asked
I looked down at my wrist and saw a mark where Carlos grabbed me
"Isaac.." I said
"Did he do that?" He asked angrily
"Yes but..." I didn't even finished my sentence he got up and stormed out
I quickly put my hoodie back on and ran out the room following him. He went out where everyone was and walked up to Carlos. He looked at him
"What came to say I could have her back? I'm good bro she's a..." Carlos said
Isaac didn't let him finish. He punched him in the jaw making him fall back. He got on top of him and started punching him.
"Isaac stop!" I yelled
I tried pulling him off but got pushed back and fell to the floor. He looked over at me and Carlos got back up on top and punched him. He only got one punch in before Isaac turned him back over and started beating him up. Danny and Cole came back from getting the fire wood and ran to grab him.
"Stop Isaac" Cole screamed
"Dude calm down" Danny yelled
"Let me go!" Isaac screamed back
"Dude chill" Cole yelled
They pulled him off and held him back
"Let me fucking go! I'm gonna fucking kill him! He fucking hurt Nova!" He yelled
"You ever come near her again i'll kill you!" He screamed
Carlos got up all bloody and ran off with his sister following him. Danny and Cole struggled keeping Isaac back and I stepped in front of him
"Baby I need you to calm down" I said
He looked at me still tryna break free
"Baby look at me please. I'm okay. We're okay. He's gone." I said
He still was trying to get out of his cousins hold on him. I grabbed his face and kissed him. He calmed down
"Take him inside" I said
Once we got into the room he started crying. His cousins looked at him
"Baby?" I asked
"I hate myself for letting him hurt you. Nova you tried hiding it from me like you did before. You think I didn't notice the busted lips or the bruises. You would wear sunglasses inside. You would wear hoodies and baggy clothes in summer. You wouldn't even go swimming with us cause you were trying to hide it. I promised when we started dating he wasn't gonna hurt you again and I wasn't there" He said crying
I grabbed him and held him crying too
"He used to hit you?" Cole asked
"Yea." I said
"She had to go to the hospital once cause her wrist was fractured" Isaac said
"I thought that was from sports" Danny said
"I didn't wanna tell you guys" I said
They all hugged me as I cried. I had finally stopped crying and Isaac stopped too. We looked at the twins
"I think we're gonna head out" I said
"We could go with" Danny said
"No enjoy the rest of your thing" Isaac said
"We're probably gonna go to my house" I said
"We've never been to your house" Cole said
"I don't like showing it to people" I said
I walked off before they would ask any questions. We went out through the front so nobody could see that me and Isaac were crying. He opened the door for me and I sat down and he closed it then got into the driver seat. He looked at me
"You wanna get some snacks? We could cook today?" He said
"I want bulgogi and rice" I said
"we could make that. We'll go to the store and get some kimchi, meat and stuff" He said
"Okay" I said
"We could watch Harry Potter" He said
We drove to the store and got the stuff. We drove to my house and Isaac looked up and around the house
"How come I never knew your house was this beautiful" He said
"I don't like flaunting it" I said
"It's huge" He said
"I could give you a tour" I said
"Yes please" He begged
We went inside and Isaac looked around. We walked into the kitchen before I showed him everything else. My house had 3 floors. I showed him the first floor then we walked up to the second floor and into my room. He looked amazed
"Holy shit!" He yelled
"It's not much" I said
"You have a built in closet and bathroom! Your room is as big as 2 rooms in my house combined!" He said
"I still need to show you the barn and backyard" I said
"There's more?!" He said
I took him downstairs to the basement where we had a bar and another living room, bathroom, movie room and a laundry room. I took him to the backyard where we had the pool and the side where we grew our crops. He ran over and sat down
"You guys grow crops?" he asked
"My mom loves gardening. We have lemon trees, avocado trees and orange trees" I said
"Holy shit this is awesome" he said
I pulled a strawberry from the bush and washed it off before brining it back and feeding it to him
"Woah that tastes amazing" he said
"My mom uses special dirt that helps the flavor" I said
I pulled him and we walked out the backyard and into where we keep the animals. We went into the barn house.
"We have 6 chickens, 4 pigs, 3 cows, 6 horses, 2 pitbulls, 4 puppies, 3 cats, 2 kittens, 2 fennec fox, 5 horses, 2 chinchillas and 4 ducks" I said
"That's a lot of animals" he said
"My sister is a vet and takes in rescues" I said
We walked inside and he looked at me
"Where are the chinchillas?" He asked
"We have a room for them so they don't get ran over" I said
I pulled him into the room and he looked at them
"I thought you said you had 4 puppies and 2 kittens. I only saw 3 puppies and 1 kitten" He said confused
"Come back to my room with me" I said
We walked back up to my room
"Look under the bed" I said
He looked under the bed and grabbed my cat and gave it to me then grabbed my dog and held it in awe
"That is Soul and this is Blair" I said
"They're so cute" he said

I noticed Isaac hasn't talked since we got into my room. I looked at him
"are you okay?" I asked
"I'm hurt you didn't tell me. I'm happy you're okay though" he said
"Babe i'm sorry" I said looking down
He put his hand on my jaw lifting my head up and I looked into his eyes
"You could tell me anything. I love you Nova and seeing you hurt like that breaks my heart. I'm always gonna be there for you. I just need you to talk to me" he said
"You love me?" I asked
"I do and I don't want you feeling like you need to keep stuff from me" He said
He kissed me
"I love you too" I said
