I woke up on the couch and got ready. I went upstairs to Isaac's room and grabbed my shower stuff out of my drawer and looked at him sound asleep. I went back downstairs and took a shower. After I was done I went to the kitchen. "Katherine?" I asked "Did you sleep on the couch again? I told you Isaac has his own room since Cole took Wills just sleep in there with him. The couch is so uncomfortable." she said "I fell asleep there last night and I guess Alex or Isaac didn't want to wake me up. I forgot my eyeliner and I need to redo mine can I borrow yours?" I asked "Of course sweetheart it's on the bottom sink of the bathroom." She replied I went back into the bathroom and finished getting ready by the time I was done everyone was already at the table. How come Isaac's girlfriend gets to sleep over but my mine don't" Cole asked while taking my piece of toast "I'm not her boyfriend" Isaac responded "Plus Isaac doesn't bring home 10 girlfriends in one week" I said grabbing another toast "Nova is always welcome here. We've known her since she moved here and her mom is out of town. I'd rather her stay here than be home alone" she replied "My sisters are home" I said

She replied "Mom" Nathan called "Katherine I could always just drive myself to school" I said "No you said your blinker wasn't working so i'm taking it in to get fixed today" She replied handing me some coffee "I know you have an extra person though it'll be easier to just drive" I said "You could sit on one of the boys lap or something" She replied "Can't we pull up the middle seat?" I asked She nodded and I looked over at Jordan looking for his pet snake and got up putting my dishes in the dish washer "I'll help find Rumple" I said "Bus is leaving in 5" Cole yelled Isaac handed me a drink and put his arm over my shoulder as we walked out. "Sit with me" Isaac said "Okay" I said sitting next to him We waited for Jackie and then headed to school. We finally arrived "Hey guys we got a full car today so that Lee no offering rides to random cheerleaders" Cole said "Okay!" He said "Hey we leave at 3:30 okay?" He said We jumped over the seat and walked. I stopped before I realized Jackie was still in the car. I looked at Isaac "I'll catch up with you" I said I walked back over to Jackie, Nathan and Danny "Jackie?" I asked "You okay?" Nathan added "i'm fine" She responded "We'll show you where your class is" Danny said "Really?" she asked "yea" Nathan answered "Can't have you getting lost on your first day" Danny added "Hey I know how hard it is being the new girl here. You got us don't worry." I said holding my hand out "Thanks" She said taking it and getting out of the car "So what do you think?" Cole asked "It's... big" She said "Not like them fancy Manhattan schools huh?" Cole responded "Cole" We heard a girl yell "Yay she's here" I said sarcastically I rolled my eyes and scoffed at the sight of Erin "I'll see you later Jackie" I walked off and went to where Isaac and Alex were waiting for me "Took you long enough" Isaac said as he put his arm over me and we walked into the school. Isaac walked me to my first class and we stood outside the door "I'll see you after this class" he said "Okay" I replied He winked and walked off before I went inside. I sat down at my seat and pulled out my notebook.
Finally class was over I hated english. It was so boring. Our assignments were to write a apology to someone. I knew what I was gonna write. I only hated that class cause my stupid ex was in there. As the bell rang I started walking out I only had lunch and 1 more class then freedom "Hey Nova can we talk?" Carlos asked "What do you want Carlos" I said "Just wanted to see how you were doing. It's been almost 7 months since we broke up" he said looking at me "I'm okay. Shouldn't you be talking to your stupid blonde?" I said "You were the one that broke it off not me! You can't be mad at me " he said "I broke it off cause you treated me like shit. You wanted to talk to her so bad you went behind my back to do it. Even after all the shit that happened cause of her. I reached the door and walked to Isaac "Hey Nov. You okay?" he asked "Can we just go please" I said He pulled me to an empty room "What's wrong?" he asked I hugged him tightly letting my tears fall "Who did it?" He asked "Carlos won't leave me alone. He keeps tryna talk to me and i'm tryna forget about him. It's so stressful" I said He hugged me tight and kissed my forehead. We stayed there throughout lunch. We laid on the beanbags in the room and he read to me
I was late for science but sat next to my friends. My friend looked at me "Where have you been?" he asked "Isaac and me were in the study hall classroom" I replied "Nobody has study hall that period" he said then gasped "It wasn't nothing he was comforting me cause Carlos came up to me today" I said "Eww what else happened?" he asked "we laid on the beanbags and he read to me" I said "Okay so I need you in groups of 4. 1 person in each group thank you this is mine now" The teacher said after taking something from a student
