Chapter 25

Today was the big day! I was gonna see Billie Eilish. Also today made 2 and a half months since me and Jayden started dating and we were doing really good. I went to the walter's house to get ready with Jackie and Isa. I walked in and saw everyone eating breakfast. I looked over at Isaac who smiled softly at me as everyone exited the kitchen. I walked over and poured myself a cup of coffee. I don't know what happened but suddenly I felt dizzy. I grabbed onto the table to balance myself and Isaac came over to me and put his hand on my arm
"Are you okay?" He asked
"Yea I got dizzy. It's probably cause I haven't ate yet" I replied
"Here sit down i'll finish making your coffee and serve you some food" Isaac said worried
"I don't really want pancakes" I said
"Then i'll make you a breakfast bagel. You still like those right?" He asked
I nodded at him "You don't have to make me food Isaac. I'll be okay"
"I'm not changing my mind. Either I call Lee in here and tell him to make you sit while I cook your food or you sit without him" He said sternly
"Fine" I huffed before sitting down
"Good choice" He smiled before going into the fridge to grab bacon and eggs
I sat and watched him cook the food then make my iced coffee. I'm surprised he still knew how to make it. He poured the caramel around the cup then added the ice before the coffee.
"Oh um Isaac" I said softly
"Yea Nova?" He replied still cooking
"We're gonna go to Billie's listening party at 5 today. I was wondering if you'd wanna come. You're technically the reason she even noticed me" I bit my cheek and looked at him
"I'd love to come. I'm not the reason she noticed you. You have a beautiful voice and anybody would be stupid not to notice when you sing" He smiled
"We're leaving at 4:30" I smiled back
"Wait you called her Billie not Billie Eilish" Isaac looked at me
"Yea now that i've spent the week texting her back and forth saying her full name seems a little bit much" I laughed
"You've actually had conversations with her?!" He said
"Yea she asked for my number 3 days ago and we just started talking. She's actually cool as hell" I smiled
"Wow. Nova you just became the coolest person I know" Isaac smiled
"Hey! I've always been the coolest person you know. If you want you could bring Grace with you. I know you two are dating" I looked down
"Nah it's okay. She's been clingy lately and I kinda need some space from her" He said as he plated my food
"You've always been the clingy one. I'm surprised you need space" I smiled
"Yea well it's a different relationship so I act differently from how I did with you" He shrugged bringing my plate over
"Oh. Um thanks for the food" I said as he placed it down in front of me
"No problem" He smiled before leaving
I ate the food and drank my coffee and washed out my dishes

After a day at the salon I came back to the Walter house and took a shower. Me Jackie, and Isa spent the day getting our hair and nails done for tonight. I got my hair filled with extensions that made the length below my shoulders and it was curled. After the shower I put my outfit on and walked into Lee and Isaac's room.
"Hey guys. Do any of you have a necklace I could borrow?" I asked
"You're wearing heart jewelry right?" Lee asked
I nodded and Isaac looked in his drawer
"I have this chain if you want" Isaac said
"cool thanks" I said
"Here let me put it on cause it'll get stuck in your hair" Isaac said
"Okay" I turned around
He put the chain over me and clipped it together in the front and fixed my hair
"It looks better on you than it did me" He laughed
"I just rock everything" I smiled
"I love the confidence" Lee laughed
"Okay so everyone is meeting downstairs and figuring out who's riding with who. By the way Isaac I like your outfit" I smiled
"I like yours too Nov" He smiled
"Hey what about me" Lee yelled
"You look amazing my lovely best friend" I laughed
He stuck up his middle finger and I laughed walking out. I went downstairs and saw Jayden sitting down
"Hey baby" He smiled
"Hi my love" I kissed him
"Nice necklace" He smiled
"Oh thanks. Isaac borrowed it to me. I couldn't find any that matched my outfit" I said looking at it
"It looks nice on you" He smiled
I came and sat on his lap
"Everything better between you guys?" He asked
"Yea I invited him tonight" I looked at him
"I'm glad you guys are getting along but are you sure you wanna be with Grace. It's your special day" Jayden looked at me
"He's actually coming alone" I replied
"Oh okay well he can ride with us if he wants" Jayden smiled
Soon everyone came down and came into the kitchen
"Okay who's riding with me and nova?" Jayden asked
"Wait who's all going" Katherine asked
"Isaac, Lee, Isa, Cole, Alex, Nathan, Jackie, and Skylar" I replied
"Nathan did you take your meds?" Katherine asked
"Yea mom I did" Nathan replied
"I'll ride with Cole" Alex said
"I'll take you Jackie, Isaac, Nathan and Skylar?" Cole said
"And i'll take Lee and Isa" Jayden replied
Everyone agreed and we all grabbed our stuff and got into the car. Isaac came and ran to my window and I looked at him
"Here are some jolly ranchers. I know you get carsick sometimes" He smiled
I looked down and only saw the red ones
"I know these are your favorite" He smiled walking back to Cole's car and getting in
