Chapter 22

"Okay Danny you ready" I asked
"Yea" Danny replied
It was lunch time and I was helping Danny rehearse his lines again for the audition later. We had done this all day
"You got this man" Jayden said
We listened to Danny recite his lines perfectly and he finished smiling
"You did so good!" I squealed
"You definitely got the part bro" Jayden cheered
"You know I know Isaac is my cousin but I really like seeing you guys together" Danny smiled
Isa came in and sat down next to Jj. I ran up to him and hugged him. I broke apart the hug and our eyes met slowly
"You did amazing. They'd be stupid not to cast you" I smiled
"Thank you Nova" He said before kissing my cheek
"Anytime Danny" I smiled
"thanks man for helping too" Danny said to Jayden
"Anytime bro" Jayden smiled
Danny left and went to his next class
"You wanna stay here for study hall?" Jayden asked
"Yea is it okay if Lee comes?" I asked
"Of course" He smiled
I kissed him softly and he pulled me onto his lap and he deepened the kiss. My phone buzzed and I saw Isaac was calling me. I looked at Jayden and frowned
"You could answer is mama. I'm gonna go get snacks and come back" He smiled

I sat next to Isaac and he looked at me
"You're right. I'm okay with being friends even if that means I have to see you and Jayden" Isaac looked at me
"You can't talk shit about him or i'm gonna defend him" I said sternly
"I know and I wanna invite him over later on" He replied
Jayden came back with the snacks
"Guess who I found" He smiled
Isa and Lee laughed at his dorkiness
"Whatcha talking about" isa asked
"I was telling Nova to bring Jayden over with her later" Isaac fake smiled
"I'm down" Jayden replied
He came over and kissed me softly
"You'll come baby?" I asked
"Yea I was gonna chill with Lee anyways" Jayden looked at me
"Yea Jay over here thinks he could beat me at Mortal combat" Lee smiled
"Oh you know I can" Jayden replied
"Nova the champion" Isaac smiled
"You are babe?" Jayden laughed
"Yea they suck so it's easy" I said smirking
"You only won cause Isaac distracted me" Lee yelled

I helped clean the tables with Isa
"You know what i've noticed" Isa said
"What" I replied
"You have this tension with all of the walter boys" She laughed
"What? No" I defended
"Like there's this moment that you guys make eye contact and I feel like they'd lean in and kiss you" She smiled
"Not even" I laughed
"Like today with Danny. The way he looked at you he seemed like he'd never let anything hurt you. Or sometimes with Cole he has the same look. Today I was on facetime with Lee and you were sleeping on him and he had the same look. Alex too and obviously Isaac looks at you like that. It's not even in a romantic way but you could tell they love you" Isa smiled
"I love them too. Id do anything for them" I smiled
I heard knocking at the door and looked at Will. I'm guessing he didn't have his hearing aids up all the way. Jordan got his attention and told him.
"I'll get it" I said
I opened the door and it was Haley.
"It's for you Will" I said
I walked away and helped the kids with their cards for Nathan.

I sat on Jayden lap and kissed him softly and Isa sat on the floor where Lees legs were. Jayden kept me close on him and kissed me from my head to my neck.
"I'll be back im gonna go to the bathroom" He said before kissing me again
He got up and went to the bathroom
"Lee you're edgegaurd.. He's edgegaurding!" Alex said
"Can you back off" Alex yelled
"Parker can play better than you come on" Lee replied
"Back off" Alex yelled again
I laughed at them arguing before Danny stormed in and got in front of the tv
"Are you serious?" Lee said
"Dude move" Alex added
"Get out of the way. I'm about to trash on Lee and Alex" Isaac said
"What's wrong Danny?" I asked
"You auditioned for the play?" Danny asked Isaac
"dude seriously" I asked
"Yea I knew that speech backwards after hearing it a million times" Isaac replied
Alex and Lee both looked over at him
"And thought it would be a good way to get some theater chicks" He said looking away from me
"Dude really?" I asked
"theater chicks are hot" He added
"So you just stole my monologue" Danny asked
"Well I thought your performance was a little stiff" Isaac smiled
"There's no way you're gonna pull this off" Danny scoffed
"I think I will since you already got the part so..." Isaac started
"How about you be honest Isaac! The only theater chick you wanted to be near is Nova! You seriously can't get over the fact she has a boyfriend even though you fucked it up so you steal the play i've been working so hard towards just to be near her?! You're fucking pathetic" Danny yelled before storming off
"Dude cutthroat man" Lee hit him
"What!" Isaac defended
"Kinda not cool man. You know how Danny feels about acting" Alex said
"So what he'll get over it" Isaac said
Jayden came back and heard all of it and looked at me. I looked back at him
"I think it's time for me to go" I scoffed
"Yea Lee me too" Isa added
"Wait Nova" Isaac started
"No Isaac seriously please don't say anything at all. I don't want to speak with you. You didn't even try denying it. I don't know what delusional state your mind is in but i'm with Jj and all this being my friend bullshit is off the table. I'll see you at rehearsals but I will only speak to you about the play. I hope your happy" I spat
I grabbed Jayden's hand and walked out the house
