It was 5 in the morning and I woke up before everyone else. I woke up in Isaac's arms and got out without waking him. I went into the bathroom and started crying. I hated that I was even near him let alone sleeping in the same bed as him. It stressed me out how much of a hold he had on me and I hated it. I heard a knock on the door and opened it. "Nova what's wrong" Lee asked "Talk to us" Alex added "I hate that I love him. He hurt me Lee and Jj treats me amazing but I can't help but wishing it was him" I cried "I know Nov" He held me "I woke up this morning in his arms and I loved it but it's so wrong" I said "Just pretend it never happened. You can't let him get you back yet. You have to show him what he did was wrong" Alex said holding my face "You're right" I said looking at them "Ima drive you to your house then go to the bakery to get breakfast for my parents" Alex said "You don't want me to come with?" I asked "No make sure everyone else is okay and check on Cole please" Alex said "Please promise me you guys won't stay like this forever" I said "I hope not" He replied "I'll be here waiting for you to get back" Lee said hugging me and kissing my cheek We got out of the bathroom and me and Alex left. I got ready then I got my car and headed back to the Walter's house "I'll see you later Nov" Alex smiled "Make sure they eat and tell Nathan I miss him" I kissed his cheek I went inside and Lee waited for me on the sofa. He stood up and smiled "What's for breakfast chef" He asked "Crepes?" I asked "Okay what can I help with?" he replied "Cut the strawberries and wash the fruit" I smiled I made the filling and the crepe mixture and started cooking it. While it was cooking I made coffee and set up the table. Soon all of the food was set out and cooked. Lee was sitting down watching tv "We'll wake everyone up when the coffee is finished brewing" I said laying on him He put his arm over me and I cuddled into his side. Even though he was my best friend I think I was closer with him than i've ever been with Isaac. Lee is an asshole to most people but he always had a soft spot for me and I loved him for it. He played with my hair and soon I fell asleep in his arms.
Lee's pov I heard Nova softly breathing and decided not to move just so I wouldn't wake her up. I softly placed the cover on her. I heard her crying last night and again this morning. I knew how her heart broke when she saw Grace and Isaac kiss and I knew he started something with Grace. I got into an argument with him the night it all happened. He said Nova distanced herself so he didn't wanna feel unloved. I was so close to punching him for breaking Novas heart especially after everything she went through. You know how people say you could have a platonic soulmate? Well i'm pretty sure Nova is mine. I'd do anything to make sure she's okay cause I know she'd do the same. I looked at her as she slept and smiled. I was happy she was comfortable enough to sleep on me and was glad all her stress was away even if it was just for now. I got taken out of my thoughts by someone clearing their throat and when I looked up Isaac was in front of us looking down at her "What the hell Lee?" He scoffed "Dude shut up you'll wake her up" I replied "Why is she sleeping on you?" he said angrily "She came and laid on me. She's stressed out cause of your dumbass and everything else going on" I scoffed "She slept with me last night" He smiled "Yea and she regrets it. You don't just get to hurt her and then pull her back when you get bored of Grace" I said rolling my eyes "I'm not" He yelled Nova stirred in her sleep and opened her eyes
Nova's pov: I opened my eyes to Isaac looking pissed. Who's arms was I in? I looked around and saw Lee. I smiled at him and sat up "How long was I out?" I asked "20 minutes" Lee replied "The food is still warm Isaac. Lee can you wake up the rest of the kids and tell them breakfast is ready" I asked "Yea i'll be back in a bit" He smiled "Oh and thanks for being a pillow" I laughed "Anytime Nov" He chuckled He left and I stood up heading to the kitchen Isaac following close behind "I don't understand you" He scoffed I ignored him and poured myself coffee "You are with Jayden but sleep with me last night and I wake up to you sleeping on my brother! How could you do that to me?!" He yelled I turned around and poked his chest "Let's get one thing straight! Last night was a mistake! I needed someone to be there for me and I thank you for that! But that doesn't mean I want you back Isaac! I'm happy with who i'm with! I don't wanna be with you anymore Isaac! If you can't be a friend then there's no reason to be in my life anymore!" I yelled before taking a sip of the coffee and burning myself I felt the hot coffee hit my busted lip "Ahh shit" I yelled I dropped the cup back down and it spilled on the counter. I felt warm liquid on my mouth and touched my lip. My lip was now bleeding again "Fuck!" I yelled "I'll clean up the counter. Go clean your mouth" Isaac said I glared at him and walked away. I went into the bathroom and Cole was in it "Cole can you open please" I yelled He opened the door and his eyes went to my lip. He pulled me in by my arm and sat me down on the toilet. I looked at him confused and he grabbed a wet paper towel. He looked at me with soft eyes "I'm so sorry Nova. I hate seeing you hurt" He said sadly He wiped off my lip and I went downstairs "I made you iced coffee. Isaac told me you burned your lip" Danny said "Thank you Danny" I smiled "He didn't put enough creamer so I fixed it" Lee smiled "There's crepes the filling is in the bowl and the fruit is in that container" I said pointing to the small purple plate on the counter "Thank you Nov" Will said "Yea thanks" Danny added "You are an angel" Lee smiled "Thank you Nova!" Parker, Jordan, and Benny came and hugged me "Yea thanks" Isaac said I ate then went into the bathroom to fix my makeup "Benny Jordan and Parker did you guys brush your teeth" I asked "Benny didn't" Parker said "Benny please brush your teeth" I smiled "Okay" He said running away "Jordan help him please" I asked "Yes ma'am" Jordan smiled After everyone got ready Will took the kids to school and I got into my car waiting for the others "I call front" Lee yelled "Damn it" Danny yelled back I laughed and we all got in "Danny you ready for the auditions today?" I asked "Yea" He smiled "You'll be sick of me by the time the play is done" I laughed "Why would he?" Isaac asked "Nova is apart of the play. She does costumes" Lee smiled
