Chapter 37

I woke up in an empty bed and empty room.
"Those fuckers left me" I said
I heard the shower going and heard Isa singing in the shower so that's where she went but where did Isaac and Lee go. I walked out the room and walked downstairs to see George and Benny
"Nova!" Benny yelled
I picked him up and carried him and gave him a kiss on the cheek as he laughed
"Good morning hun" George said
"Where's the Gracia twins?" I asked
"Isaac had a errand to run with Lee" George smiled
"It's a secret!" Benny yelled
He covered my ears as I laughed
"Do you know when they'll be back?" I asked as Benny moved his hands
"Not sure. If you want you could help make the cupcakes for the wedding" George said
"Id be happy to" I smiled
I put Benny down and he ran off
The rest of the morning I helped George. He made Lemon lavender cupcakes and I made red velvet cupcakes. Jackie came down and tried both and groaned
"Oh my god these are amazing" She said
"Thanks" George smiled
"Why thank you bestie" I laughed
"I can't wait for tomorrow" Jackie smiled

I helped Jackie list everything that needed to be set up. We walked outside
"Hey you come talk to me I haven't seen you all week" Alex yelled
"That's my cue to go find my novio" I laughed
"See you Nov" Jackie smiled
"Bye Nov I love you" Alex yelled
"Love you too A!" I replied
I walked inside and went up to Isaac's room. I saw him look at me scared
"Nova?! I thought you were outside" He said startled
"I didn't mean to scare you" I replied
"No it's okay. Let's go to the living room" Isaac said
Before I could say anything else he pulled me downstairs and into the living room. I sat down and he pulled out his phone and started texting someone. He turned off his phone before I could look at it
"Where did you go this morning?" I asked
"I had something to do" Isaac replied
"Oh. Um i'm gonna go help Jackie" I said
I quickly got up and walked outside
"Hey Isa" I smiled
"Hey um I set up an appointment for us today so go get ready" Isa said
"Last minute?" I asked
"Yea let's go" Isa smiled
"Okay" I said
I went upstairs and got ready

Today was the wedding and honestly I was ready to go home. Isaac had been so secretive yesterday and I was honestly over it. Him and Lee had been whispering the whole day and when I asked about it they would shrug me off. I wasn't gonna let our problems ruin the wedding though even though I was supposed to perform the song I wrote for Isaac. Everything is perfect on my face even though i'm losing it in my head. I slept in Jackie's room yesterday since Isaac hadn't really spoken to me. I walked downstairs and saw Jackie smiling all quirky
"You ready for today?" She asked
"Yea let's get it done" I said
"You ready to perform your song?" Jackie asked putting her hand on my shoulder
"I guess" I said looking down
"Everything okay?" Alex asked
"Just Isaac things" I sighed
"I promise it's nothing" Alex said
"Yea it's gonna be fine" Jackie smiled
I walked back inside and saw Isaac
"You didn't sleep in the room" Isaac said
"Yea um I slept in Jackie's room" I said
"Why?" he asked
"Just wanted to" I shrugged
"Is everything okay?" Lee asked
"Perfect" I said bluntly
Instead of sitting down next to Lee I sat next to Alex at the counter and Isaac furrowed his eyesbrows. Jackie walked in on the phone and we all looked at her
"Can you drop the rest off in the next hour thank you" She said on the phone
She looked over at us and smiled
"Okay great you're all here" She smiled
"Not for long" Isaac said with an attitude
He tried leaving but Nathan stopped him
"Hey what are you doing? You don't get a pass. We're all roped into this thing" Nathan said holding his shoulder
He pulled him back down into the chair
"alright" Isaac said annoyed
"Okay so Nathan you have the music and everything is all set up?" Jackie asked
"I got you" He said holding up his phone
He walked away as he looked back at isaac with a annoyed look
"I'll be back" I laughed as I spoke
I walked away and went outside with Nathan. I walked over to him and helped

"Lee can you put the covers on the chairs" Jackie asked nicely
"Covers" Lee asked
"Yes they go on the back of the chairs" Jackie replied
"Why" Lee asked with an attitude
"Because they look nice" Jackie said
"No" Lee said with a mean tone
"Bestie please" I asked
"Fine" He said rolling his eyes
"They're out outside with the tablecloths. Isaac..." Jackie started
"Don't tell me i'm doing tablecloths right?" Isaac said pointing at her
"Yep" I said popping the p
Both boys groaned and got up. I walked over and placed my arm on Lee
"I don't get it. Why would anyone wanna cover a chair" Lee whispered to me
"Cause it looks elegant and wedding like" I said laughing
We walked outside and started setting everything up. I stood on the chair and hung up the lights and almost fell.
"Woah be careful" Isaac said catching me
"I got it thanks" I said
"Everything okay baby?" He asked
"Yea I just am tired" I lied
He carried me down from the chair and placed me in front of him. He stared at me
"I know you're lying" He said
"I don't wanna talk about it" I said
"baby you could tell me anything" He said
"I thought we were done keeping secrets Isaac. You acted the same way when the whole Grace thing happened. How am I not supposed to feel some way" I replied
"Princess..." Isaac started
"It's stupid I know" I cut him off
I started walking away and he pulled me back. He held my face as I stared at him
"It's not stupid mama I promise. I know you hate when I keep things from you but I promise it's nothing bad" He said
"It just scares me. I feel like you're finding a way to leave without telling me" I said
"Baby i'm never leaving. We're gonna spend the rest of our lives together and there's nothing you can do to make me wanna leave" He said
I looked at him as he leaned down and kissed me softly. I smiled into the kiss
"I love you Nova" He smiled
"I love you Isaac" I replied
We went inside and I sat at the table with the boys as they made sandwiches
"Hey guys you busy" Jackie asked
The boys looked up from the sandwiches
"no" Lee said
"Yea" Isaac said at the same time
I smacked Isaac upside the head as Lee gave him a side eye. I laughed softly
"No" Isaac said
"Can you do me a favor?" Jackie asked
"What's up J?" I replied
"I really need these cupcakes frosted" She said
"come on Jackie. Looking good takes time and I need to get ready" Isaac said
"Really babe" I laughed
"It's for Will please" Jackie said
"Dude come on" Lee said
"We'll do it J" I smiled
"Fine okay" Isaac said
"Thank you" Jackie replied
We walked over as Isaac scoffed. I started working on my own as the boys did theirs. They obviously disagreed
"You're supposed to put the frosting first and then sprinkle" Lee said
"Watch this" Isaac said
He threw sprinkles at Lees face laughing
"You think that's funny huh?" Lee asked
"Yea" Isaac said
"That's crazy huh" Lee said
He started throwing sprinkles at Isaac
"You think that's funny huh" Lee laughed
"Hey! Hey! Hey!" Isaac yelled
"Hey stop!" Jackie yelled
The boys didn't listen and kept going
" aplácate!" I yelled
Both boys stopped and looked at Jackie
"We don't have time for this" Jackie yelled
"Ya cálmate los dos" I yelled
We all looked behind Jackie and saw Albert eating the flowers
"Shit" I said
"Uh" Isaac said
"Jackie" Lee said as Isaac pointed
She turned around and saw the flowers
"Um. Huh" Lee said putting his hands on his hips
We were outside and Jackie was freaking out. I sat in between Isaac legs as we watched Jackie pace back and forth
"What's going on" Cole asked walking up
"Albert ate Haley's wedding bouquet" Isaac said
"Does she really need a bouquet" Lee asked
"For a wedding?" I asked
"Yes lee she really needs a bouquet" Jackie said
Isaac looked at Lee and he yelled "Oh"
"Yea idiot she needs it" Isaac said
