"This is gonna look so cute on you" Isa told jackie
I passed her the hat "Here try it on"
"I don't wanna go" She replied
"Look the county fair is part of your assimilation into Silver falls life" Isa said
"You should look the part" I smiled
We dragged Jackie to the mirror
"I don't think Alex cares if my outfit screams hoedown or not" Jackie said
"Yea maybe not" I said
Isa glared at me before whacking me
"I think he has more important things on his mind" Jackie said
"Like" Isa asked
"like competing" I replied
"And like why he's still mad at me" Jackie said
"Her outfit doesn't matter" I shrugged
Again Isa glared at me and Isaac came
"Hey beautiful" He said walking over
"Get your cousin in law she's abusive" I smiled
Isaac came and pulled me close to him
"What did you do" Lee asked
"All I said was Jackie doesn't need to worry about her outfit" I said
"She does!" Isa complained
"Well you and Isa have fun with that me, Lee and Nov are going out" Isaac said
"No you have to stay" Isa groaned
"I can't I have to do something" I said
"Fine" Isa complained
"Take care of my bestie" I told Isa
Before she could say anything else I ran out with Isaac and Lee
"Thanks guys" I laughed
"Anytime" Lee smiled
"You're girlfriend is crazy" Isaac laughed
"She's just tryna help" Lee shrugged

We got ready for the competition and Alex was a nervous reck. I walked over
"Lex it'll be fine I promise" I said
"Nov i'm so nervous I might puke" He said
"It'll be okay" I hugged him
"It's not just that" He replied
"What is it?" I asked
"I'm losing her to Cole. It's happening all over again and she doesn't see it but I do. I know ima have to let her go" Alex cried
"Alex... No she cares about you" I said
"I know but she can't help who her heart wants" He replied
"If it does happen it just means it wasn't meant to be and there's someone else out there for you" I said
"Like who?" Alex asked
"You'd be surprised on the person who's been waiting for you" I replied
"There's someone?" Alex asked
"Yea but ima let her choose when you find out" I shrugged
"Thank you Nov" Alex said
"For?" I asked
"being here for me. I know I wasn't a great best friend and Lee is better than me but you've treated me so well even when I wasn't there for you" Alex said
I pulled him in for a tight
"Anytime" I smiled
"So you and Isaac make a year since you first kissed and went on your first date in 2 days you excited?" Alex asked
"It's not our official anniversary so it's probably just gonna be normal" I smiled
"You haven't planned anything?" alex asked
"I wrote him a song" I replied
"Ouu you have to show me" Alex said
"Okay" I replied

It was time for the competitors to come out and I sat close with Isaac, Lee and Isa. I look over and saw Cole and Jackie talking
"Isaac" I said pointing at them
"They're arguing" Isaac said
"Next up we have #8 Alex Walter"
"He's on" I smiled
We started cheering for him as he went. He did amazing and Jackie stayed close to cheer for him.
"He's gonna get hurt" Isaac said
I looked over at him confused
"She likes Cole and Cole doesn't care about Alex's feelings. They're constantly in a competition and Cole would do anything to beat Alex" Isaac said
"Which is fucked up. How could he do that to his little brother" I said angrily
"Jackie's most likely gonna get hurt too. Paige didn't care but Jackie is the complete opposite" He said
"Ima kick both of their asses if they hurt my best friend" I said
We walked home and I sat in the room helping Jackie prepare for her interview tomorrow. We heard a knock at the door
"Come in" I yelled
Danny came in with an envelope
"Is that?" I started
"It's from Juilliard" Danny replied
Me and Jackie both looked at him
"I can't open it" Danny said
Jackie took the envelope and smiled
"You sure?" Jackie asked
"Yeah I have the two people I need right here" He smiled
I grabbed Danny's hand as Jackie opened and read it. She looked up and smiled
"I got in?" danny asked
"You got in!" Jackie replied
"You got in?!" I yelled
I jumped into his arms hugging him. He put me down and grabbed the letter
"Let me see!" I yelled excitedly
As we read the letter Danny's face fell
"What's wrong" Me and Jackie asked
"I don't know if ima be able to go" Danny said sadly
"We'll figure it out Danny. I'll help out as much as I can" I hugged him
