Chapter 30

I woke up in Cole's bed. He hardly slept last night he woke up twice and threw up. I heard him crying in the bathroom and so did Danny. He looked at me worried. When Cole came back in the room he acted like he was okay and went back to sleep. I woke up and quietly got out of the bed I went downstairs and made breakfast and grabbed a cup of water and some pills. I saw Lee sleeping on the couch and looked at him confused. I headed back into Cole's room and placed them down on his nightstand. I texted the groupchat and told everyone I made breakfast. I started walking out of Cole's room when I saw Grace sneaking out of Isaac's room
"Oh hey Nova" She said quietly
"Grace" I said bluntly
"I'm just heading out" She smiled
She quickly walked downstairs and left out the door waking up Lee. She was here with Isaac? After what he said that night. He told me he loved me and she was a mistake to him. So why was she in the house why was she in his room? I walked downstairs and grabbed myself a cup of coffee. My heart felt like it was beating out of my chest and my head was spinning. He lied to me? Did he even mean what he said? I didn't even notice my cup was overfilling until Lee came
"Nova that coffees hot!" He said
I broke out of my thoughts and gasped
"Son of a bitch!" I screamed
Katherine ran downstairs and saw coffee all over the counter and my dress
"Oh my god Nova are you okay?" She yelled running over to me
"Here let me help you clean yourself up" Lee said coming over to me
"I'll clean the table there's a first aid kit in the bottom bathroom" Katherine said
Lee rushed me to the bathroom as I held my burning hand. He turned on the cold water and placed my hand under it
"It doesn't look too bad im gonna put some aloe vera gel on it" Lee said
I just stared into space as he spoke to me
"Nova? Are you okay?" Lee asked
He lied to me. He didn't love me at all
"Nov should I get Katherine" Lee shook me
"He doesn't love me" I whispered
"Huh" Lee asked me
"He doesn't love me" I said louder
"Who? Jj?" Lee asked
Tears started coming out of my eyes
"No! How could he fucking lie to me?!" I cried
"Hey. Hey. What's wrong" Lee hugged me
"Isaac said Grace was a mistake the night before the Gala! She just left his fucking room this morning! He told me he loved me and he lied!" I sobbed
"Oh Nova" He hugged me
"I'm so tired of this. I don't wanna do this anymore. I don't wanna love him anymore Lee. This hurts so bad" I cried
"Nov i'm so sorry you're going through this" Lee said tearing up
"I can't move on! After everything we've done and everything we've been through I can't and I hate myself for it" I sobbed
At this point Lee was crying too
"It hurts" I cried
"I know baby. Just breathe please" Lee cried
We spent 10 minutes like that before I didn't have anymore tears left to cry. He grabbed a towel and wiped my face
"We could stay in here if you want"
"No I wanna go home" I replied
"Everyone's awake and down here" He said continuing to wipe my face
"I just wanna leave. I don't wanna be here" I said
"I'm taking you home. I'm not letting you drive like this. When we get to your house we're gonna hang out with you're fur babies and we'll watch rio and eat all your favorite foods" He smiled
"That sounds amazing. I used to do that with Isaac when I was feeling down" I smiled sadly
"I know he used to tell me" Lee said
Lee hugged me tightly and kissed my head "You got this Nov"
I opened the door and saw everyone sitting at the dining room table
"Nova are you okay" Isaac came up
I looked at him and teared up
"I'm fine" I said walking past
"Nov what's wrong" Isaac asked
I continued walking until I got to the door
"Lee you're taking her home?" Cole asked
"Yea i'll be with her today" He replied
"Nov?" Isaac looked at me
I looked at him before walking out the house and heading into my car being followed by Lee who got into the driver side. I watched as Isaac walked out the house and Lee drove out as he watched

We got to my house and Lee opened the door for me. I looked at him and smiled
"You're not gonna hang with Isa" I asked
"She's working with your tia today" He replied
"Oh" I said
"Plus I said i'd be with you. I know she's my girlfriend but you're my best friend and i'm gonna put you over anything" he said
I hugged him tightly and teared up
"I know you're hurting Nov but I promise it'll be better in the end" He smiled
"I know but it's so confusing just yesterday he was treating me like his everything and today I wake up to Grace leaving his room" I cried
"I'm sorry I didn't warn you. I came back from showering and saw them sleeping. Weird thing was he wasn't holding her" He said
"He gets hot sometimes when he's sleeping" I replied
"You have to forget him" Lee said
"I'm gonna push my feelings down and continue being with Jj" I smiled
"That's my girl. I'm gonna run you a bath and while you're taking a bath i'm gonna go get some snacks for us" He smiled
"You don't have to do that" I replied
"I want to. Nov you've been there for me through everything and i'm gonna be here no matter what. I'm gonna make some food and we're gonna make you feel better" he replied
"How come you're not this nice to everyone else" I asked
"I have a soft spot for you. There's only space for one person" He smiled
"I'm glad I get to see this side of you" I hugged him
He went upstairs and set up the bath as I was playing with Blair and Soul. When he got home he cooked and we watched all my favorite movies. I was laying on him in the movie room and I fell asleep
