I woke up to bright lights and a heart monitor beeping. There were tubes attached to my arms which kinda freaked me out. I looked at someone holding my hand as I regained my vision I saw it was Isaac. I looked around the room only seeing my mom too. What the hell
"Isaac?" I spoke
He quickly opened his eyes and smiled
"You're awake" He said softly
"Where's Jj?" I asked
"I honestly don't know. He kinda just left without saying anything last night" He frowned
"What the hell" I asked confused
My mom woke up and hugged me tight
"Jeez mija you scared us all" She said
"I'm gonna go tell everyone your awake" Isaac said getting up
He kissed my head and walked out
"What happened? Omg did I ruin Billies night?" I asked worried
"No sweetheart but she called you a couple of times and Isaac picked up. You fainted cause you had really low blood sugar. Isaac caught you before you hit the floor and he hasn't left your side since" My mom said looking at me
"He stayed this whole time?" I asked
"His tia and tio told him to go home and get some rest but he refused to leave your side. He even held your hand all night" She replied
"He was there for me earlier yesterday. I felt dizzy and he made me food and coffee while I sat down" I looked at her
"He might've messed up in the past but he really seems like he loves you" My mom said
"I'm with Jayden though" I replied
"I like Jayden don't get me wrong but he's not the person who stayed" She said
Soon everyone came in and hugged me
"Don't scare us like that Nov" Lee said
"Seriously" Isa added
"If you weren't feeling good we could've stayed home" Cole said
"Yea you should've rested" Alex added
"Dude you scared us" Danny said
"We're glad your okay" Nathan added
"Yea and we're gonna make sure you stay okay" Isaac said
"Yea" Jackie smiled
"take it easy from now on" Ismael said
"Billies on her way here" Isa said
"She's supposed to be in a meeting all day today" I said
"She said she pushed it back just so she could check on you" Isaac said
"She adores you" Lee laughed
"You better not be replacing me" Lee frowned
"I only have one boy best friend" I defended
"Yea you replaced me!" Alex yelled
"and me!" Isaac added
"I'm just better" Lee laughed
Soon the doctors came in and smiled
"You'll be getting discharged today. Please take it easy and keep track of your blood sugar" The doctor said
"Oh we're buying her a machine for that" My tia said
"As soon as we leave here" My mom added
"Is there any signs we should look out for?" Cilla asked
"Nausea mostly" The doctor responded
"What usually helps?" Lupe asked
"If she starts feeling it going down she could eat a piece of candy and it'll help" The doctor replied
"We'll make sure to keep candy around" Katherine said
"Yea she'll get a special spot that only she could grab from" George added
"She just needs rest and some food in her system. Mom please follow me and we'll get the paperwork started" She smiled
My mom nodded and followed her out
"Brunch at my house?" Katherine asked
"Sounds great" My tia responded
"Okay Walter's come on we're going home and getting brunch started" Katherine called out
"I think ima stay with Nov if that's okay" Isaac said
"Yea that's fine" George responded
"Is it okay if I go with you guys and take a shower?" Isa asked
"Yea is it cool if I tag along too?" Ismael added
"Sure you could ride with Cole" Katherine smiled
"Me and Lupe will get some stuff to bring to your house like fruit" Cilla said
"Thank you hun" Katherine said
Soon everybody but my tia and Isaac left and I sat on the bed my wrist was killing me from the needles they had in my arm. The nurse came in and took them out as Isaac held my hand and distracted me
"Isaac can you help me change back into my clothes" I asked
"Yea sure" Isaac said softly
"I'm gonna go with your mom" My tia said
"I had Isa bring you shorts and a shirt. I'm pretty sure you didn't wanna wear yesterdays clothes" He smiled
She left and Isaac untied my gown. He gently pulled my shirt over my head and helped button up my shorts after I put them on. He looked at me and smiled
"How is your arm feeling?" He asked
"It's sore" I frowned
"I'll be your personal butler today so you won't move it around" He smiled
"Thanks" I looked at him
"It's nothing crazy" He shrugged smiling
"No I mean for not letting me hit the floor and for staying with me this whole time" I looked at him
"I'm always gonna take care of you. Together or not. Seeing you like that yesterday scared me and hurt my heart cause I couldn't help you" He frowned
"I'm sorry Isaac" I looked at him
"I just wanna make sure you're safe princess" He looked into my eyes
I looked into his and we both leaned in
"Bro are you okay!" Billie yelled
We both jumped back from eachother
"I'm okay" I said
"Dude you had me so worried" she hugged me tightly
"Billie I can't breathe" I laughed
"Sorry. Never do that again!" She smiled
We talked while my mom signed the paperwork. I sat next to Isaac
"Dude thank god for Isaac but where's jay?" She asked
"I actually haven't heard from him since last night" I frowned
"Fuck dude" Billie shrugged
"Maybe he had something" Isaac said trying to ease my anxiety
"You got people who love you Nov. You don't need to waste your time on him if he's doing dumb shit" Billie said
They both hugged me as I sighed. My mom came in and looked at us three
"we finished the paperwork. Ready to go?" My mom asked
"I should get going to my meeting. They aren't very happy with me. I'm having a concert in a few weeks for a music festival. If you're feeling better by then you should come and bring your group." Billie said
"We'll make sure she's healthy enough for it" Isaac smiled
"cool see you then. Keep me updated if anything happens Isaac" Billie smiled

We went to the Walter house and Katherine had made a lot of food. I looked at them surprised as they all waited for me. There was a welcome home sign
"We know you weren't gone for long but we wanted to show you how happy we are that you're okay" Katherine smiled
I hugged them tightly and smiled
"I love you guys" I said
"We love you too hermosa" Isaac said
"we love you more Nov" Lee said
They all added their replies in and I heard a knock on the door. Isaac got up from next to me and opened it
"Nova can you come here" Isaac yelled
I walked over and saw Jayden
"Hey" I said
"Um can we talk?" He replied
"I'll give you two space" Isaac said walking back inside the house
"You weren't there" I frowned
"I know and i'm so sorry" Jayden said
"Why?" I asked
"My mom called me and told me to come home" Jayden said
"Is everything okay?" I asked
"We're leaving at the end of this month instead of the end of next month" He said tearing up
"What?! It's only been like 2 months and a week!" I teared up
"I know but my dads company decided to move early so they wouldn't have to renew their lease over here" He said looking down
"I only have 3 weeks left with you?" I cried
"I'm so sorry baby but I don't have a say in it. If I did I would stay with you forever" He said holding me
"We should make the best of the time we have" I said
"Yea we should" He smiled sadly
