The next day, freen got a call from grandmother and when hearing grandmother's voices, she was shivering and asking herself did she do something wrong? Because grandmother's voices tinged with anger yet disappointment towards her.

With that, they went to the palace just like how grandmother ask.

As they arrived at the palace, Freen and Rebecca could sense tension thick in the air, palpable even before they stepped through the grand entrance. The weight of the impending confrontation hung heavily on their shoulders, amplified by the piercing gazes of their family members.

Once inside, they were met with a scene that sent a shiver down their spines. The grandmother, her usually composed demeanor shattered, stood with a paper clenched tightly in her hand. Her eyes blazed with a mixture of anger and disappointment, and Freen could feel the weight of her gaze bearing down on them. Plus, their parents was staring to them blankly, and freen gulping out of fear.

"Explain this!" the grandmother demanded, her voice cutting through the silence like a sharp blade. With a forceful gesture, she placed the paper on the table before them, the sound echoing in the tense atmosphere. Freen furrowed her brow, puzzled by the sudden intensity of the situation, while Rebecca's heart raced with fear and apprehension.

Slowly, freen grasp the paper. Freen's hands trembled as she held the paper, her mind swirling with confusion and disbelief when seeing this.

How could their marriage contract agreement be in the possession of her grandmother? The questions raced through her mind like a whirlwind, leaving her reeling with uncertainty.

"We... we can explain this, grandmother," Freen stammered, her voice barely above a whisper as she struggled to find the right words to convey the complexity of the situation.

"But how? How can you explain this betrayal?" the grandmother cried, her voice cracking with anguish as tears welled in her eyes. Freen stutters and she was trembling knowing herself making grandmother and her parents disappointed.

Rebecca stood by Freen's side, her heart heavy with guilt and regret. "We never meant for this to happen, grandmother. It's just... circumstances," she tried to explain, her voice faltering as she met the grandmother's gaze.

The tension in the room was palpable, the weight of disappointment hanging heavy in the air. Freen's parents looked on with a mixture of concern and dismay, unsure of how to react to the revelation.

The atmosphere in the room was heavy with tension as Freen and Rebecca faced the wrath of Freen's grandmother. The elderly woman's eyes were red and swollen with tears, her voice quivering with anger and betrayal.

"You betray my trust, Freen! You lied to us!" the grandmother accused, her words echoing off the walls of the opulent chamber. Mrs. Chankimha, Freen's mother, stood beside the grandmother, her expression a mixture of sadness and disappointment as she held onto her mother's trembling form.

Freen's heart sank at the sight of her grandmother's distress, her own eyes welling up with tears of remorse. She took a hesitant step forward, reaching out to her grandmother in a desperate attempt to explain herself.

"Grandmother..." Freen's voice wavered, choked with emotion as she struggled to find the right words to express her regret. But before she could utter another word, her grandmother raised a trembling hand, halting her in her tracks.

"Don't come to me, and leave!! I don't need your explanation," the grandmother declared, her voice breaking as tears streamed down her cheeks. The finality of her words hit Freen like a punch to the gut, leaving her feeling utterly devastated and helpless.

With a heavy heart, Freen nodded in resignation, her whole body trembling with the weight of her grandmother's rejection. Rebecca, sensing her husband's distress, gently took hold of Freen's hand, offering her silent support and comfort.

"Lets go, Freen," Rebecca whispered softly, her voice barely audible over the grandmother's sobs. With one last sorrowful glance at her grandmother, Freen allowed Rebecca to lead her out of the room, leaving behind the shattered remnants of trust and love that once bound their family together. "Let grandmother calm down, i promise will fix this." Rebecca whispers. rubbing freen's back to comfort her.

Freen cannot describe how she felt at the moment. She lied to them, and she betrayed her grandmother. But, this is not what she meant. Really. Everything just... happened.

Rebecca cannot help but to stares to freen blank yet cold face that zoning out inside the car. Freen seem loose herself at the moment, but despite that, she knows that this might frm Apo's work. But how can he got the contract? And thinking about this, freen clenched her jaw tightly.

"That fucking jerk. He must be the one took the contract." Freen mumbles, hands gripping the steering wheel tightly in frustration. Rebecca's mind running again, and she somehow gasped when knowing and assuming this. Is it non? What? Non? Rebecca thought and grinding her teeth.

Its all because of him!
