ENAMOUR LOVE

Chapter 6.

Amyrah:

Jinn's thoughts aren't leaving me alone. I feel like I'm getting possessed by his thoughts, I tried hard to ignore it but just the thoughts of him is making me feel something which is foreign to me.

I accept that he is the only male species that didn't raised voice or his hand but the fact is he just talked to me for barely less than 10 minutes and his intimidating aura will for sure be my death.

I can't risk myself marrying any guy, I want to complete my studies and do the job and earn a decent amount. I don't want any distraction in that, these dominating species will be my destruction.

I shook away these weird thoughts as I reached the Uni. Today is finally the day, the sports week starts today. Yes, it's a week and I'm avoiding that Godzilla. I've no idea when he will come in front of me like a Jinn.

Abbu allowed me to go as it was entirely on the Uni, he didn't have to give any money. Ammi was against it and I thought I couldn't make it but miraculously they both gave the permission. It is a tradition in our house that, if Abbu agrees to something Ammi would be against it and vice versa.

I walked towards my class and saw Sariya was busy with her other friends. She has many friends apart from me and they get along well. I sat on my usual spot and I can feel they are talking about me.

Soon the PT sir came and started telling us all about today's activities. Sariya didn't even look at me for once, have I done something wrong? I shook away these thoughts and focused on the instructions.

So today I have to do the running race and relay race. I have no idea who my teammates will be for the relay. I wish someone would take it as a competition not just for time pass. We walked out of the class in a queue to the ground where the buses were parked. I'm so excited.

Everyone sat in pairs and the last seat was taken by boys. Sariya sat with her other friends, I looked around for the seat but they all were in pairs.

"You can sit with the driver." The girl sitting beside Sariya yelled and everyone started laughing.

"Amyrah, come here." I looked at my side and saw the teacher called me. I whispered a quick thank you and sat with her.

She took the attendance and sat back, the bus started and everyone cheered. I glanced at the window trying to look outside.

"Wanna come here?" She asked rather too softly which made me tear up, I shook my head afraid my voice might tremble.

Lubna mam, gave a small smile and focused on the work she has to do. It was about 15 minutes and everyone was busy themselves. I took my sketching book and started drawing the normal sketches.

It is my way to avoid the tense environment, I always do sketching when my heart feels heavy. I was busy at work when Miss Lubna's voice rang in my ears.

"Amyrah, can we swap the seats. The wind is disturbing my work."

"Yes, of course mam." I whispered to her and swapped the seats. It was one of my crazy dreams to get the window seat and it is finally fulfilled. I glanced back at her, and she was smiling looking at me.

My gaze was fixed outside the window looking at the moving trees, and cars. The sky was clear and the white clouds were made up in different structures and patterns. One was in the shape of a tree, the other one was like Doraemon. I really wanna capture and treasure it forever.

"Can you capture that for me." She passed me her phone and my eyes widened. Is she reading my thoughts? How can she trust her phone with me.

I closed the window and took her phone and took a few pics.
