THIRD PERSON POV:

Mir Usman Shah was in his cabin typing on his laptop when his PA entered inside after knocking on the glass door. "Sir everything is ready." He informed him.

Usman nodded at that and stood up from his chair buttoning up his coat with a smirk curved up his lips. His dark eyes were swirling with the emotions which showed that they were ready to destroy someone today.

He walked ever so gracefully like every time and entered the meeting room where everyone was waiting for him. As he entered the room everyone's gaze was on him but one was stunned at his place.

He sat at his place and one of the other company's employees started their presentation. Usman leaned back comfortably listening to them. He was renewing the contracts and was even looking out for new projects with the other companies.

After a few hours the meeting had eventually ended and most of them were started leaving, while some were shaking their hands to congratulate and thank him for becoming their new partners.

"It will be an honor to work with you Mr Shah." One of the men said shaking Usman's hand.

"Your company deserves it and who is this Mr?" He asked with a side smirk looking at the guy who was little behind them.

"He is Siddique. My company's one of the great employees." The man introduced them unaware of the inner animosity Siddique was feeling. He hesitantly forwarded his hand in Usman's direction with a tight lipped smile as he was even afraid of what was coming in his way.

"As our companies would be working together in future I would like to invite you two to my son's wedding."

As the words sinked in Siddique's mind he froze visibly with his eyes fixed on Usman. "Congratulations, we will for sure attend it. Right Mr Siddique?" The man asked him to which he gave a still nod.

"I will be visiting your company in a day or two and I'll bring the cards then." Usman was calm and composed like always. He was in this profession for more than 2.5 decades and he was aware of how to handle things professionally without letting the emotions take over the control.

After discussing a few things with others he walked back to his cabin and sat on his chair leaning back on it. He again busied himself in the work and just like that the day ended and he was on his way to his home.

His lips curved up in a smile looking at Afreen, who was busy in hand stitching Amyrah's veil for the wedding. He walked towards her and settled on the couch across to hers.

She looked at him then at the clock. "You are late again." By saying this she focused back on her work. Usman smiled at that and leaned back on the couch.

"Kyun khud ko thaka rahi ho, hum isse khareed sakte the." (Why bother yourself? We could have bought it). He ignored her previous remark and said it while looking at her tired eyes.

"Aap ise nahi samjhen ge." (You won't understand it). Her eyes were fixed on the dupatta. "Khana lagava dun aap ke liye." (Shall I serve the food?). She glanced at him then focused back on the work.

"Kia tum ne kha liya?" (did you eat?). He asked back, knowing very well what will be the answer and as he guessed, she shook her head. "Kitni baar kahun ke mera intezaar mat karna." (How many times do I say don't wait for me?).

"Don't give so much importance to yourself, I didn't feel like eating." She retorted back but they both knew the truth. It's been more than 3 decades of their marriage and every day it will be the same.
