After buying different types of chocolates, snacks and tubs of ice-cream. I went to the medical store for that hot bag or something like that. He instructed me how to use it and I heard everything he said, I even brought pain killers in case.

I reached back to the house and after keeping everything on the coffee table I entered her room. She was deep in her sleep. I stood there for a while just admiring her serene face. She has that something in her which attracts me like a magnet.

My stomach grumbled in hunger and my feet automatically took me to the kitchen. Even in unbearable pain she thought of me. How selfless she could be? I took the plate from the stand and looked at the dishes.

Rice and aloo gosht. The aroma of it made my stomach do a flip. After filling my plate I sat on the dining table and right away dug into it.

What more hidden talents does she have now? It is so damn tasty that I can eat the entire bowl. After eating and keeping the dishes in the sink I walked up to her room. She is sleeping peacefully.

Laying down beside her I turned towards her. What is it in her that attracted me like no other did? I was about to touch her cheek but there was a bell sound resonated in the entire apartment. She stirred a little but again got comfortable.

Standing up and walking towards the door I peeped to see who it was. Opening the door I greeted her and she greeted me back keeping her hand on my head.

"Where is Amyrah?" She asked while looking around.

"She is sleeping. She isn't well." I replied to her and she nodded talking about the other things.

"The maid will be here by tomorrow but for today, manage it." She took a sip of the juice with her eyes fixed on me.

"Amyrah already made the lunch and I will order something for dinner."

She nodded again and I asked about Baba. "He is up to something and we were thinking about cancelling the pre wedding programs and only focus upon the two main events." The idea isn't bad but I guess I need to ask Amyrah as well cause she might have big plans for her special day.

"I've no problem with that but I think we should ask her as well." I mumbled. Lord it feels so awkward to talk about my wife with my mother.

"The problem is Aaban, we don't know if her parents would come or not in all the events. I don't want anyone to spread any kind of rumours about you two." She said and this made me think.

"Then if that's the case then they won't even come for the wedding or reception." I don't even want them near Amyrah. What they have done to her is already a lot I don't want them to stress her again.

"Well I got that." She winked at me sipping her juice. "How is she doing now?"

"Alhamdulillah, a lot better from yesterday." She is in fact getting a little stable and I want it that way. I'm sure if they meet her again then there will be another drama.

She smiled mumbling something under her breath and we talked for a while and with that we heard the footsteps approaching towards us and it took our attention. Amyrah looked between me and Ammi then at herself and after mumbling the greeting she ran back.

Ammi chuckled lightly shaking her head and after a while she came back washing her face and covering herself in the chaddar with dupatta on her head. She looked between us again and slowly walked towards Ammi and sat beside her.

They started talking and the conversation went smoothly without any awkwardness. After an hour or two Ammi went back, telling her they would go shopping tomorrow.
