AABAN.

We were in the living room. She was playing on my phone and I was working on the laptop. It's the last few days of her vacation and I'm trying to spend as much time with her as possible.

I know once we officially become a married couple and get back to our home our entire lifestyle is going to change. So, I'm trying to live in this moment and enjoy it when there is still time.

Living together is so much fun and now especially getting on her nerves. She is finally getting irritated and giving me the reactions which is satisfying me. I love annoying her.

"Aaban Aaban Aaban." Her voice stopped my thoughts and I looked up at her from the laptop screen. She came and sat beside me passing me the phone. "The results are out."

"Do you remember your hall ticket number?" I asked and she nodded. I opened the site in the laptop and turned it towards her. She wrote her number but was reluctant at pressing the enter button.

"You check it." She turned the laptop back to me and closed her eyes mumbling something under her breath. I was not able to look away from her face. She was continuously praying.

Finally pressing the button I gasped looking at the result. "What happened?" She asked while panicking.

"Uh! don't stress out sweetheart it's just one paper. You can do it next time."

"You're kidding right?" She got really panicked.

"Don't worry it's just one subject."

"How can it be possible?" Tears started brimming in her eyes. Lord how cute is she looking with a serious look and quivering lips. "I worked so hard. Which subject?" She asked wiping her eyes.

"Look at it yourself." I turned the laptop but her eyes were fixed on me. She shook her head but I signed her to look at it. She hesitantly looked at the screen and her eyes widened.

"Kaminey insaan." She screamed and started throwing cushions in my direction. I dodged all of it while laughing. She secured full marks except for one subject and I'm sure she topped it.

She was trying to catch me but I stood up and ran in the living room. "You assumed it yourself, I just said one subject. I never said you failed." I ran behind the couch and she was standing on the other side holding a vase in her hand. Yeah an actual vase. Progress I guess.

"You gave me a heart attack." She wasn't able to control her smile and it made a warm feeling in my heart. She is finally getting back to normal and I'm so thankful for it.

"My dear nerd how did you assume you can fail any test." I grinned and she picked up the pillow from the ground and threw it in my direction. She came forward but I was rooted in my place. I need a massage and her punches would do I guess.

She ran in my direction and tackled me with a hug. Okay this isn't what I was expecting well who cares. I hugged her back holding her by her waist. "I'm so happy." Her voice was filled with excitement and it made me smile.

I pulled her and twirled her in the air. She was giggling holding me tight. Settling her back I patted her head. She moved back with her hands still encircled around my torso. "So proud of you jaana." I kissed her forehead and she was smiling cheekily.
