We were in the car on the way to the penthouse. I was looking for the mall on the way but as it was late at night I don't think I will have luck at this hour. Amyrah looked calm from before, she was looking outside the window.
The roads were empty and the ride won't be much long. I know what Baba did is right and after talking with him I knew he was doing it for our safety.
He doesn't want Amyrah to become a new hot topic of the crowd. We know how people will try to look for something against us and Amyrah staying there without marriage would be like talking about her character.
Baba can tolerate anything but never when it comes to us and the way he got protective for Amyrah just by listening about her Father made my worries vaish.
She isn't alone now and everything happens for a reason. Maybe the secrets behind this will be revealed to us in future. Allah would do everything for a reason and there isn't any doubt in it.
Finally after half an hour drive we reached. I parked the car in the parking lot and looked at her. When did she sleep? Turning off the engine I looked at her.
She looks calm in her sleep just like a baby without any stress, sleeping peacefully. I still couldn't understand the love she holds for her Father. How can she love someone who wasn't anything but a cruel monster.
I've no idea if she will be happy with me or not but I wouldn't become anything like her father. I'll try any and everything for her happiness. I looked at the time and it was around 2.
Climbing out of the car I rounded towards her side and as I opened the door she woke up with a jerk and looked at me. "Did we arrive?" She looked at her surroundings then back at me.
"Yes. Come let's go." I forwarded the hand and she kept hers walking out. I slammed the door shut and took my bag from the back seat and after taking it we entered the elevator.
Pressing the button on the 14th floor I pulled her closer side hugging her. She looked up at me and I kissed the side of her head. Just thinking about spending my entire time with her was making my cells ecstatic.
"14th floor? What if the lift breaks? Do we have to walk all the way down?" She asked with shock evident in her eyes.
"Shush, don't talk about it here. What if it really stops in the middle?" Her eyes widened and she stepped closer to me making me chuckle. As if being getting closer to me nothing would happen.
"Yes, the more we get close the chances get nil of breaking down." I whispered in her ear and she stepped away from me removing my hand from her shoulder.
"What you wanna get stuck in?"
"I'm not a child to fall in it." With that there was a ping sound and the doors opened. I grinned at her and taking her hand we exited.
"Where is the key?" I was searching in my pockets.
"Don't tell me you forgot it?"
"Wait oh no I might've really forgotten it. You should've reminded me."
"I can't sleep on those stairs." She pointed at the stairs and shook her head.
"I can sleep on it and you can sleep on me. Wow that's a brilliant idea and it's final." I teased her and her eyes widened like a saucer and her mouth was slightly open.
I tried to go near the stairs but she shuddered moving back still in shock. How easy it is to mess with her. She looks so cute. I pulled the keys from my back pocket and opened the door. Now she was looking at me with those narrowed eyes of hers.
