We were near the banquet hall and my heartbeats were rising in anxiousness. Nothing can go wrong don't worry Amyrah. It's just your overthinking self. I kept saying this to myself for the past week but still I wasn't able to accept it.

I felt the touch on my thigh and I looked beside me. He gave me an assured look to which I nodded. We are at this point that we don't need words to communicate with each other.

We reached the destination and he parked the car. He looked at me and rubbed his thumb on my thigh. The fluttering feeling enveloped me from inside. "Calm down." He whispered.

I nodded and gave him a small smile. "If you want to go back anytime call me and we will leave then and there."

I want to leave now itself but as he said let's give it a try so that there won't be any regret in the future and for all the things Zahid Bhai has ever done for me. To be honest he was there when no one was from that family.

Let's give it a try and what might go wrong? The day before yesterday Aaban asked me whether I wanted to go or not and after thinking I said yes. He doesn't want me to go if something is troubling me but Zahid Bhai's call made me think otherwise. Just for him I said yes but now at present I'm having second thoughts.

"Amyrah?" I looked at Aaban. "Don't you wanna go? If you aren't comfortable let's drop the plan and go for a date." This made me smile.

"No, let's give it a try. What can go wrong? It's not like someone will kidnap or kill me." I said with a giggle but I guess he didn't get the joke. He was looking at me with a murderous look. "Just kidding."

He took a deep breath and stepped out of the car. I did too and ran to him in my heels. "Accha na sorry." I gave him my best puppy dog eyes. Now he will know how it feels when our loved ones talk about death. He tastes his own medicine.

"Is your phone with you?" He asked but with coldness in his tone. Such a sulky baby.

"Yes."

"Is it charged?"

"Yes."

"Call me when you want to leave."

"Yes boss." I saluted him to which he rolled his eyes. I held his bicep and leaned on his shoulder but immediately moved apart as someone might see us like this.

"Ohh my bun bun. My sweet bun, don't be a sulky bun." He grimaced listening to it and smacked my forehead which made me grin. "Chalo ab" (come now). He dragged me to the elevator and pressed the button.

I fixed my hijab a little while looking in the mirror and he was gazing at me. "Kya ghoor rahe hein?" (What are you staring at?). I teased looking up at him.

"Dekh raha hun kaisi churail lag rahi ho." (Just looking at how witchy you are looking). I laughed at it and pulled his cheeks.

"Isi churail par Fida hai janab aap." (Mr, You are head over heels for this witch only). I said proudly. He was trying his best not to smile but was failing miserably.

"Sonch hai." (It's your thinking).

"Accha?" I looked for the camera and luckily there wasn't any. I moved a step closer to him, keeping my hand beside his face. The heels are giving me an extra few inches. He was gazing in my eyes and so was I. My heartbeats were erratic cause for the first time I was trying to be bold, well forget about that being getting high.

I inched closer and kept my hand on his heart. It was in the same condition as mine, beating erratically as if ready to get free from its cage. Leaning further near his face I kissed his cheek and was about to kiss his jaw but a ping sound stopped me and I abruptly moved back.
