Latti stood at the large glass window, taking in the breathtaking view from Damon's penthouse. Damon emerged from the kitchen with two plates of breakfast, his gaze fixed on Latti, who looked stunning in his big shirt, revealing her smooth legs. He placed the plates on the table and approached her from behind, his hands circling her tummy. As she noticed him, she smiled, intertwining her fingers with his.
Damon rested his head on her shoulder, their heads leaning against each other as they stood there, soaking in the moment. Latti broke the silence, asking, "How was your first performance?"
Damon smiled, reminiscing, "Well, it wasn't bad. I performed in a bar, and a man named Sylvester was impressed. He sponsored me, and ever since, I've been doing music."
Latti's curiosity sparked, "And what about your parents? Didn't they have concerns about Sylvester?"
Damon chuckled, "Turns out he was sent by Mom to check me out. So, everything worked out."
Latti exclaimed, "Wow, that's so cool! So, why did you come to study if you already had a career?"
Damon confessed, "It was my way of having a normal teenage experience. I had to take it.
Damon grinned, teasingly, "What's this about me? Come on, it's your day. I should be the one questioning you because I'm your biggest fan."
Their eyes locked, a shared moment of understanding passing between them before they leaned in and shared a tender kiss.
Reon's eyes fluttered open as sunlight flooded the room, courtesy of Rehina opening the curtains. "Damn, that's so bright," he muttered, shielding his eyes.
Rehina, brimming with excitement, exclaimed, "Today is a good day, I can feel it! So, wake up, sleepyhead!"
She bounced onto the bed, edging closer to Reon, determined to rouse him from his slumber. With a mischievous grin, Reon retaliated by grabbing a nearby pillow and covering his face.
Undeterred, Rehina pounced, attempting to wrestle the pillow away. In the midst of their playful struggle, Reon seized the opportunity to tickle her, causing them both to tumble off the bed and onto the floor in fits of laughter.
After a while, Reon and Rehina had finished cleaning up and were busy getting dressed. Rehina sat by the dresser, brushing her hair, while Reon was putting on his trousers. Suddenly, they heard a knock at the door.
Rehina: "Will you get that?"
Reon: "Yeah, sure."Reon moved to the door and found Gray and Elsa all dressed up and looking great.
Reon: "Hey, you guys look fantastic."
Gray: "Thanks, Elsa picked out this outfit."As they entered, Elsa sniffed the air.
Elsa: "What's that smell? It's so good. Is that you, Reon?"
Gray: "Nah, he smells soapy. I guess it's Rehina."
Elsa headed towards Rehina and took her brush to assist her, blushing as she put on her jewels.
Elsa: "Wow, you smell great. What is it?"
Rehina: "It's from my company that I built back in France. It's called 'Sentir Bon.'"
Elsa: "Wow, I want one."
Meanwhile, Gray sat with Reon on the bed.
Gray: "Did you know she had a company?"
Reon: "Uh, nope."
Elsa: "So, are you and Reon also coming to the Teengrind?"
Rehina: "Teengrind? Hmm, I don't know, should we?"
Gray: "I thought Reon said you would join us. He even has tickets."
Rehina glanced at Reon through the mirror.
Rehina: "Oh really? He didn't say anything about it."
Reon murmured: "Oh, great."
Reon stood up, saying: "I was gonna until someone brought it up before me. Besides, the event begins at five in the evening. I knew I had a lot of time."
Elsa and Gray exchanged looks.
Elsa: "Yikes."
Reon asked: "What?"
Rehina: "You don't ask a girl out on the day of the event. What if my schedule was on something else? Besides, it's not cute."
Reon apologized: "I'm sorry, won't happen again. Now, please, would one of you help me select the best shirt that compliments my trousers, please?"
Gray volunteered: "I will help."
Elsa added: "Hmm, I love you honey, but your sense of fashion needs help."
Gray defended himself: "No, it doesn't."
Elsa teased him: "Tell them what color you chose today before I dismissed it."
Gray, looking a bit embarrassed, admitted: "It's not about me."
Reon urged him: "Come on, don't be shy."
Gray reluctantly confessed: "Purple and green."
Reon chuckled: "Didn't really catch that, say again."
Gray shouted: "Purple and green! Okay, you win."
They all laughed, and Elsa suggested: "Well, that cream t-shirt would look great."
Reon thanked her: "Thank you, Elsa," as he followed her suggestion for the cream shirt.
Gray mimicked Elsa, folding his arms, and she caught him.
Elsa scolded him: "Boy, I saw that."
Gray apologized: "Sorry, jeez, you're scary as hell."
Later that evening, the gang arrived outside the Teengrind, which was already crowded. Elsa, who was driving, remarked, "Wow, there's a lot of people already."
Gray, sitting beside her, commented, "Well, best we not be late."
Reon, who sat beside Rehina, looked uncomfortable. Rehina noticed and held his hand, asking, "What's wrong, babe?"
Reon replied, "Nothing, really. Well, let's go, guys." He opened the door and got out. As he did, he noticed Morgan from afar, coming from her car. The way she dressed and how she looked always caught Reon off guard. He couldn't help himself from saying, "Oh, wow."
Rehina noticed his distraction and asked, "Hey, zoning on me right there?"
Reon turned his eyes from Morgan and said, "Oh, yeah, let's go," holding her hand as they walked. Rehina looked kinda jealous since she saw him looking at Morgan. Meanwhile, Gray and Elsa also held hands as they approached the Teengrind.
Morgan entered the teen grind, enveloped by a riot of colors and the cacophony of voices. It was a sensory overload, with bodies pressing against each other in the crowded space. But amidst the chaos, she felt a strange sense of solitude, a loneliness she had never experienced before. Every step she took seemed to echo in the silence of her own mind, as if the world itself was conspiring against her.
As she navigated through the throng of people, a sense of isolation settled over her like a heavy blanket. Finally, she found a spot to stand and wait for the concert to begin, leaning against a pillar for support.
As Reon, Rehina, Gray, and Elsa entered the concert venue, they were greeted by a breathtaking sight. The pillars were adorned with golden lattice, casting an ethereal glow throughout the space.
"Wow, check this place out! It's so beautiful," Gray exclaimed, his eyes wide with wonder.
Elsa nodded in agreement, her gaze sweeping across the grandeur of the venue. "Yes, it's amazing, right Rehina?"
But Rehina remained silent, her expression distant and troubled. She seemed lost in her own thoughts, disconnected from the splendor surrounding them.
Reon, standing nearby, appeared equally aloof, his features devoid of emotion as he surveyed the surroundings.
As the stage lights dimmed and the music began to pulse through the air, Rehina glanced at Reon, a silent plea in her eyes. She longed for some acknowledgment, some sign that he was still there with her.
