⚠ Warning ⚠ - This is my first book. I will be using both Hindi and English. "Because jokes are funnier in Hindi and songs are more emotional in Hindi." Advik. But I will add English translation too. If I ever miss, you can always comment down to let me know.

And this work is purely fictional. But the scene 1 here is your author's reality. I am scared of ragworms. And scared se I mean screaming and standing on sofa too.

If you have any suggestions, you can let me know in the comment section. Hope you enjoy the story. Fingers crossed. 🤞

Childhood sweethearts

They fell and they fell harder.

15 years ago, when Advik was 9 and Navi was 8

"Derek, hume hospital nahi jana. Doctor ne hamari kidney nikal li toh. Papa apko bahot marenge. Wapas chaliye nah." 9-year-old Advik stood firm, his small frame trembling with determination as he threatened Derek, his father's bodyguard.

(Derek, I don't want to go to the hospital. If the doctor took out my kidney, my father will beat you up and fire you.)

But Derek remained unfazed by the young boy's words, knowing that it was his duty to carry out his employer's orders.

"Kuwar sa, apke papa ne hi apko hospital le jane ka order dia h. And I promise koi doctor apki kidney ko hath nhi lagayega warna hum unke heart ki sabji banake kutto ko daal denge."With a playful banter, Derek hoped to put Advik at ease and quell any nervousness creeping into the young boy's mind.

(Prince, your father ordered me to take you to the hospital. And I promise if anyone dared to touch your kidney, I will cook his heart and feed it to dogs.)

"Arey fir kya fayda, hamare marne ke baad apki kisi ki bhi sabji banake khaiye. F-groups ka hone wala CEO toh marr jaega nahh. F groups ke khatir, hame chorr dijie nahh. Hum apko ice cream dilayenge. Chaliye nahh" Advik pleased with puppy eyes almost teary. Derek couldn't help but chuckle at the adorable sight. But then he heard a girl's voice shouting from a room in the distance and Advik immediately clung tight onto Derek's black jeans.

"Dada hum nhi jayenge, dekhiye us ladki ki kidney nikal rhe h." Advik said sobbing on Derek's black jeans gripping him tightly. The fear in Advik's voice tugged at Derek's heartstrings and he tried to move away, but Advik moved along with him, refusing to let go.His sobs echoed through the hallway.

(I won't go, please see they are taking out that girl's kidney.)

"Kuwar sa aisa kuch nhi h. Kisi ki kidney nhi nikaal rhe h. Aap uthiye warna hamari kidney blood filter layak nhi bachegi." Derek tried to assure the young boy, but he was met with fierce resistance.

(Prince, nothing like that is happening. They are not taking anyone's kidney. Please get up or else my kidneys will lose the ability to filter blood.)

"Hum nhi chorenge aapka per. Aap yaha se chaliye bas." Advik stubbornly refused to budge, causing quite a scene as people walked through the corridor.

(I won't let go of your leg. Just leave from here.)

"Agar kisi ne dekh lia toh hume dikkat ho sakti h kuwar sa. Samajne ki kosis kijiye." Derek pleased him trying to pull away, but he just tightened the grip and sobbed even more gaining attention.
