Advik's POV

I slammed the door as the guards left with her. Why God why? Why her out of the whole world? Why do I have to always embarrass myself in front of her.  This was the third time she helped me. And I didn't even thank her. The ragworm was artificial remote controlled and I very well know who it was. I hastily called Mann.

"Abey oh saale tuje jitni gaaliya du nah utni kam h. Aaj breakfast skip kar dia tha kya jo subhah subhah gaaliya khane ke kaam kar raha h?" I roared on call just as he picked up.

"Kya hua welcome gift pasand nhi aya?" Mann teased.

"Beta gift toh mai dunga ab, teri location bhej abhi ki abhi."

"Hospital mei hu abhi. Thoda busy hu. 6 baje tak aa ja." He said casually. This bloody moron still has guts to tell me he is busy.

"Abey oh velle insan, quack doctor tujse kon hi treatment le rha hoga?"

"Abey itna kyu ubal raha h. Chill nah, just a little prank. Tune bhi toh kya kuch nhi kia h meri life  narak banane ke lie."

"Tu apna muh band hi rakh faltu mei har jagah meri izzat ka kabada karta rehta h."

"Iss baar kiske samne hua?"  He asked amused and teasing.

"Wo diary wali ladki yaad h? She is also here. She saw me standing on table."

"Oh haa haa. Teri Cinderella mil gyi finally? De di diary? Mil gya sukoon?"

"Sab teri wajah se hua. Ab muh dikhane layak bhi nhi bacha mai, diary dena durr ki baat h." I said cussing him in every language I knew.

"Tera muh toh waise bhi dikhane layak nhi h. Aaja ek saree dilata hu, ghoongat karke baithe rehna fir."

"Ghoongat karne ki jarurat tuje h, aur hatho mei mehendi bhi laga lio tere kand raas nhi aa rhe h muje. Aisa hi chala toh teri saas tuje jhaadu se maregi."

"Acha sun shaam ko baat krta hu ek emergency h." He said and hanged up the call. And my day passed in meetings and checking the files, different departments. It was all exhausting maybe because I haven't even dozed off for a second for around 35 hours.

And finally, it was 7pm. Almost done with everything. I so wanted to go home and sleep peacefully. But I had to meet Mann. I want to smash his head. Punch him in face until he bleeds. And my driver turned the car as I gestured him half asleep in car.

Navi's POV

I headed out of office and drove to pick up Arya. My best friend since childhood. We changed streams but our vibes remained. And now that I was transferred in Mumbai. I shifted in her apartment. So, we can gossip day and night and discuss our years of pain.

I called Arya stopping my car afore the hospital. She is an intern (23-year-old).

"Kha par h, bahar khadi hu mai." I uttered frantically as she picked up.

"Babe fas gyi hu yrr. Ye senior pta nhi kis janam ki dusmani nikal rha h. Tu cafe mei wait karle nahh, mai 15-20 min mei aati hu." She said frowning tiredness evident in her voice. I hanged up the call and took out my book.

I was drooling over my fictional man sitting in the cafe sipping on my coffee when a hand on my shoulder jolted me back to reality and I realized I was sitting in a cafe around 50 other people. Busy in my own world. And my eyes instantly landed on him standing near the counter calling someone. Advik, why the hell is he here? Is he following me? No way why would he? But today's incident. My eyes shifted to his folded sleeves again reminding the moment. And shivers ran down my spine, the whole zoo dancing in my stomach.

"Stop eye fucking him." Arya's voice pierced through my ears.

"Who is eye fucking whom?" I turned to her.

"Tere intention sahi nhi lag rahe h muje." She winked at me.

"Mere intentions bhot shudh h." I said gawking him and shifting my eyes back to her.

"Haa haa itne shudh ki ganga mei dubki lagaye toh ganga dushit ho jaye." She said snatching my plate and eating my snacks.

"Haa bas isilie maine kabhi ganga mei dubki nhi lagayi."I said innocently blinking.

"Kash laga leti toh aaj ye din nah dekhne padte." Naksh (my cousin) entered pulling my hairs lightly. He knows my hairs are best way to trigger him. I was about to tear off his hairs but realized I was in a cafe. He took his chair and ordered 2 coffees. He is also an intern and Arya's classmate, maybe friend too.

"Waise nah ye ladka bhot khadoos h, meri aakhon mei khatak raha h. Dil karta iske baal noch lu aur diwar mei baja du ise." Arya said glaring at a guy standing with Advik.

"Kyu dholak h kya?" Naksh laughed out. But ignored pathetically.

"Konsa ladka." I cut off Naksh.

"Wo blue shirt wala." Arya said gawking the other guy.

"Mai toh white shirt wala taad rhi thi." I laughed at her face.

"Tum dono ki ladke taadne ki rasam puri ho gyi ho toh coffee thandi ho rhi h." Naksh mocked both of us.

"Abhi toh start hi ki thi. Tu tapak gya fir sara mood kharab karne ke lie" Arya mocked back glaring.

Naksh shouted as a waiter dropped hot latte on him. We all stood with a jolt; each eye present in cafe staring at us. The most uncomfortable moment.

"I am so sorry sir." The waiter said handing him tissues.

"Bro, tissue ka kya karu. Skin jal rhi h meri." Naksh said getting up the steam still getting out his shirt. Arya took off her oversized shirt and handed him. He went to change in washroom. And just as we were about to sip on our coffee. We noticed Advik and the guy looking at us. A smirk on both of their faces. Advik headed to our table.

"Hey, thanks for today. And sorry too..." Advik uttered leaning on table.

"No worries. You don't need to be sorry, thank you or anything. " I uttered getting up and gesturing him to sit. He took a seat afore us. And Arya shifted in her seat. And I can read her mind on her face.

"Umm Navi, actually I need your help...."

"Sure. I am all ears." I interrupted as he hesitated a bit.

"See I know you have been working with Vedhika but for this one time, can you...."

"Are you bribing me to fight against my own friend?" I raised my brow.

"I am not bribing or forcing you. It's up to you. You can decide and tell me till tomorrow?"

"Tomorrow? when?" I raised my eyebrow folding my hands on table.

"A dinner, we can discuss things if u agree to it. Till then take your time."

"And what about me? Mai ghar pe akele cook krungi?" Arya asked looking at both of us.

"You are of course invited dude." Advik smiled at Arya.

"I am sorry I forgot to introduce, she Arya my best friend and Arya he is Advik, marketing head in our company."

They both nodded and shakes hands as if planning something against me. And Advik left with a smile. He appears arrogant, selfish and all. But he is quite jolly by nature, always smiling and friendly. Unlike me. Dukhi atma.
