Navi's POV

I took tentative steps and looked down the window. Advik's shoe was in our neighbor's balcony and the dog was tearing it in the worst way possible.

"Gaya apka 40K ke shoes." Arya chuckled looking down.

"40 lakh" Adi got up leisurely correcting her.

"I am so sorry. I promise I will pay you back soon" I stumbled. There was no possible way I could pay him back when my yearly package was itself 30 lakhs. It was enough for me as a bachelor but not to live a luxury life for sure.

It certainly reminded me of the gap between us. He was living a life; I didn't even deserve. We are far from matching to each other's lives.

"Kaise pay karogi? Just reminding you ki is month apartment ka rent tumhe hi dena hai." Arya teased. She belongs to a billionaire family herself. But she has been living a humble life. She doesn't want to attract any kind of attention, so she lives a humble middle-class life alone.

"Koi nahi, Navi ki salary se cut kar lenge." Advik added chuckling. But my expression remained stern. Adi's eyes met mine.

"I was just joking, it's fine." He squeezed my hands lightly. As Arya picked up a shoe box from a gift bag.

"Here. They are the same shoes. I guess it'll fit you well too." Arya showed him the shoes, they were exactly same as his.

"How did you get this?" Adi questioned her with an intense reaction. What was so surprising about these shoes?

"For your kind information, 10 such pieces were made globally and I prebooked one. Bhaiaya aane wale hai nah."

"Vihaan? Why didn't that bastard tell me he's coming back." Advik growled.

"Dadi zabardasti bula rahi hai, shaadi karaynegi bhai ki." They both chuckled hard.

"Shaadi aur us Kirmada ki? Usse se shaadi karega kon? Sakal se hi cannibal lagta hai." Advik muttered hardly controlling his laugh.

"Ye bhi hai par in case kuch hua toh tayyari honi chahie nah ab aise waise shoes se thodi maar khayenge mere bhai......Branded shoes se maregi meri bhabhi" Arya uttered with pride and admiration in her eyes.

"Meri taraf se branded jhaadu belan bhej dena. Tutna nhi chahie marte hue." Advik added.

"Done samajiye." Arya giggled.

Advik's pone buzzed and he smiled lightly before discarding it. "I think I should be leaving now..."

"But your shoes?" I retorted.

"I have spare ones in my car, worry not." I mushed as the doorbell rang. Arya hurried to open the gate as I looked at Navi's room once more. She is the same girl I craved to see for all these 15 years. She is alive. Right in front of me. This very thought made my heart flutter. Every time I looked at her.
