I couldn't tell whether it was really stupid of me to have just run off from one of the highly secured places in the kingdom or really smart of me. Because if they had caught me, I don't want to know what they would have done for breaking so many rules.

My thoughts kept on going back to the teacher that had banged her head against the wall when I was in that room. I don't know how it happened but if it was really my fault I really did feel bad.

I mean she was just doing her job, right?

I had been walking for probably more than an hour with many breaks in between because my legs currently had as much as strength as an old sick lady would have.

My sweater had been replaced with the one I had brought, just in case someone saw me while I was walking, hopefully back in the direction of my home. I had a black coat that covered my skirt and fell a few inches above my boots.

Running one of my  hands through my now open hair, I try to get some warmth while using my other hand to hold onto a strap of the backpack I had on me.

Who knows how many days it would take to go back?? I mean I had come here in a train, so probably a very long time.

I would come back though if those devils did not send back all of my friends once they were healed.

A loud horn goes off into the direction I'm walking in and I quickly hide behind a shed that's to my right.

It couldn't be people from the academy, right?

Oh what I would do to become invisible right noww! I hug myself and shrink down onto the ice sheet below like it will cover for me if someone shows up.

I hear footsteps and peek from where I'm sitting to see who it is.

"I swear I saw someone here! I can only imagine how they would be walking around in this cold." a very familiar voice says.

Ry's blonde hair peeks out of her cape as she comes into my view. I couldn't believe my once in a lifetime luckk!

I leap up from my spot with my stuff and run into her arms.

"Ryy, you have no idea how much I missed you!" I exclaim while embracing the warmth she is eluding.

"Omg! What the heck! Ari is that you? How can I not fucking see you? Where are you?!" she says in the same excited tone as me.

"What do you mean? I'm right here, Ry!"

"Uhh I can very much hear your voice and maybe feel you hugging me but I sure as hell don't see you. Wait did they teach you sorcery or something during your three days there?" she says in a now confused tone.

I look down at myself and realize I can't freaking see my own hands. I'm going freaking insane!

It couldn't be because of that stupid manifestation could it? I take a deep breath and embrace my desire to be seen again and slowly open an eye to see if that foolish idea actually worked.

When I look down I am able to finally able to see myself.

So I scream and Ry screams with me.

"You scared the living daylights out of me! What the fuck, Ari!!"

Ry holds her chest as if her heart is gonna fall out of it any second.

"I don't know what's happeningg. Can we first please get out of here? I'm going to turn into an icicle anytime soon." I say with my teeth starting to chatter.

She agrees and her pale skin starts turning pink as we head back to the carriage.

I put my bag down next to me and start taking off my cape to change into something warmer.

"Ryker please take us directly to the destination, I don't want to be late." she says to the driver.

And with that she enters into the carriage.

Ry pulls out her blonde hair from her cape before taking that off as well.

"I have warmer clothes change into this. I knoww you warned me about the research job in the library but they are giving a good pay and even though my family has money, I really want to help them out. So that's where I'm going right now. To give my letter as well as meet the person who gave me the offer."

I don't have the heart to tell her how cruel and messed up those people are because I just had dealt with them for 3 continuous days. But maybe her luck with them would turn out to be better than mine?

I was just hoping it really was.

I give her a smile. "No worries, Ry. Yes I'll be worried about you but I know for sure you will shine in whatever position you choose after you graduate. Even if it is in the elites community, they definitely have a lot more to offer than we live anyway. You will outdo yourself wherever you go."

"Thank youu, Ari. This is one of the countless reasons I love youu. I'll be careful so you don't have to worry that much. Since it's already the afternoon and just a little behind schedule we will reach the city by tomorrow morning. Thankfully I overpacked on food because you know how my mom is. So everything's all okay."

We talk back n forth about all the things that happened in the past few days for who knows how long before the sun starts to set and then we both eat before dosing off.
