Third person's POV

"Your majesty, I am extremely sorry and I know no amount of forgiveness will make-up for my mistakes but I thought it would be best to inform you as soon as possible.. One of the students from the underclass school in the outskirts left the campus without our staff. I do not think she has any intention on returning. " -Mrs. Romani says.

Her head is bowed down as she kneels on the ground in shame.

The heir to the Blackthorne empire sits in front of her with an annoyed expression. He was wasting his time for one of his workers mistake and had many other places to be.

"Your lack in respect for your job clearly shows how sorry you really are, Katherine. One of my advisors will be paying a visit to see where else you have been making such silly mistakes.. And as for that student.. How many of them from there passed the exams anyway? "

"I promise you I will make sure their time doesn't go wasted when they visit me.. As for the students from that particular area there were 5 out of the 15 students who did score well. There was also a girl who scored higher than your own people."

The women's hands start shaking as she prepares for what his next question will be. She wraps her hands under her layered skirts to avoid showing her true emotions.

"Interesting. That was way higher than I had anticipated. I would like to meet this girl you just spoke of. Deliver her to my quarters in an hour. And as for the runaway, I'll have my guards go after her and throw her in the capital prison. That should make that insignificant soul realize that nobody messes with the elites. Your work here is done. You may leave now."

Alexander De Silva gets up from his seat and puts on his cape to get ready to head back to his home.

Mrs. Romani furiously starts weeping as she tries to muster the courage to say something she knows the heir will not like.

Alexander looks back at her with a confused expression.

"Is there anything else that I do not know of, that you would like me to know?"

He projects the time with his hand to see how much time he has already spent for this useless activity.

"You-r ma-ajesty t-the girl who y-you wanted t-to meet is the o-one who ran away-y. I-I am so sor-ry. I-I'll try my best to find her." she says within hiccups and tears flowing down her face.

Alexander whips his head around so fast that the lady barely has anytime to flinch before he in lightening speed has her head thrown against the wall.

"WHAT THE HELL HAVE YOU DONE?!?! Do you have any fucking clue how dangerous it is for some untrained and clueless girl to be wandering outside of these walls? She could kill herself or anyone around her! That girl could be a very good asset for us as she has no elite background. And you just carelessly fucking lost her??"

Rage roams freely through the entire room with every object shaking and on the brink of catching on flames. Once the heir releases Mrs. Romani's neck and lets her fall to the floor, an orange handprint is imprinted on her neck.

She lays as still as possible in her state to not anger him any further.

"I would have had you suspended if my staff had not been so busy with the work they currently have. You should know that every movement you take after this will be monitored by the imperial serpents. Any further mistake, and they have the right to take control over you."

From the position she is sitting, she simply nods and bows down to him for offering his mercy in not killing her.

"The return of that girl is now my task. I want her report right now before I leave and you are to remove all the people you have sent in looking for her."

Mrs. Romani conjures with the little energy she has, the reports of Aurora Valentino, and places them in Alexander's hands.

In a second Alexander disappears and the exhaustion fully catches up to head of admissions where she faints on the floor.
