I wake up with a throbbing head and puffy eyes. I really should have taken Ari's advice of not associating myself with the royals or elites. The funny part was that Cassian was the first person I had ever dated in my entire life and he was a fucking elite. And where did that get me?
All it gave me was heartbreak.
I roll out of bed and contemplate showing up to the orientation I have to give to the upcoming class of war mages. Even though I wasn't amongst these people, I scored relatively high in all of my classes these past few years here. I earned the respect of my teachers and a large majority of the students in my year over time.
Maybe this will take my mind off of what happened yesterday... So I guess I will be going.
I take a shower and slip into my 3rd year mage uniform. I apply some makeup to not scare off all the students I'll be talking to with my depressed face.
My blonde hair is put up into a high ponytail and I release two strands of hair to rest on my forehead.

On the way to the hall I'm assigned I call Ari to make sure she had reached her place. (The orientation would start at 9:30 am so it would make sense for her to already have left that devils place at this point.)
Once she picks up and says she's okay, I tell her to meet up after both of our orientations are done to which she agrees.
I don't know how I was going to tell her about him. Ugh!!
I walk into the hall before time so only a few people have showed up so far.
They all greet me as I walk over to the podium and go over their schedule.
9:30-10:00 --> Greetings & Introduction of the speaker and academy
10-11 --> Curriculum and overview of the main staff
11-11:20--> Break & refreshments
11:25-12--> Tour of first year campus areas
12-12:30--> Q&A
There went half of my day..
I start exactly at 9:30.
"Hello everyone! On the behalf of Starcreste Academy I congratulate all of you for taking interest in the education offered here. We are known to be the most prestigious and valued academy in our kingdom! I'm Mage Marie and will be your guide during this orientation that's been planned for all of you. Please do stop me anytime if any of you have a question that's been brought up as I speak."
Time flies by as I engage the 30 or so students assigned to me and I don't even realize we're almost over till students thank me and bid their farewells.
