You can't find me

Chapter 34

Third person POV

1 day after they reach the city:

"Yes sir, I have a list of possible locations. I have sent teams out looking for them and they have a recent photo of the both of them. I'll have them before your deadline." Lucca says to his commander. 

Ry and Ari both stare at each other in the bush that they're hiding in before they sabotage Lucca when he's left alone. 

"Wha-? The hell?! You two actually showed up!!?" he whispers to both of them while leading them to a more secure area. 

"You traitor! You were going to give us up weren't you!" Ry whisper yells at him. 

"I had a few decoy's, I wasn't going to give you two up that easily. I signed an oath with blood. My life and family's lifeline is connected to it!" he whispers back to her. 

Ari looks at their surroundings while they both continue to talk to each other. 

"Guys let's figure out how your going to turn us in. That way your commander will trust you more and maybe our punishment will be not as brutal." Ari tells them. 

"Yeah right. Cas is going to have my head the second he sees me. Literally." Ry mumbles under her breath but Lucca hears her. 

"Who's Cas?" he questions her with a now serious tone. 

"Some elite who hates my guts. I kinda threw a pot on his head. Maybe his somewhat handsome face is a little ugly now." she huffs. 

"What the hell? You know if he knows the right people, he could ruin you?" Lucca tells her.

"Oh no, he very much does." she says. 

"Guys stop it. We'll deal with him once we encounter him. Lucca, take us to your commander. Let's not make it a whole show announcing it in front of a lot of people." Ari tells him. 

"Yeah, okay. Hold my hands. I'll teleport you guys there with me." he says and they comply. 

Once they are there, they come in front of a huge mansion with exotic sculptures and waterfalls. It has more guards than the population size of where they all used to live. 

"Jeez, I think this guy is poor or something." Ry says while giggling. 

Lucca rolls his eyes and then walks up to the gate to identify himself in the speaker. 

Once he's cleared they all walk through the gates and across the guards to reach the house. 

He asks for the commander and his assistant says he will be with them shortly. 

A while later a guy stomps out of the commanders office with anger written all over his face and it happens to be none other than Cassian. 

Ry involuntarily lets out a gasp and then covers up as much of her face as she can with her hands to act like she's coughing. 

"Cassian! You come back here right now! I wasn't finished talking to you, mister!" and an out of breath commander comes out of his office to follow him.

"Ah Lucien! Would you please get my boy for me please? He seems to be a little troubled lately." he tells him. 

Lucca doesn't get enough time to see the signal Ry sends him of this being the same guy she was talking about as he runs after him.

"Hey there! Lord Cassian. Your father is not done with you." 

Cassian stops and turns around to look at him. 

"It's not like I should be talking to a nobody. But tell him if he can't help me with whatever I want, I don't wish to be spending my precious time with that old man." Cassian says with anger in his eyes.
