I look up from my textbook to see Coralie running towards me in her navy horsing outfit, with her eyes beaming in excitement.
I wonder what news was so important that she didn't even get time to change back into one of her dresses.
(She barely went anywhere without being in one of her dressy outfits)
"Wha-"
"HE ASKED ME OUT!" she screams.
"Aww that's grea-" and I'm tackled to the ground into a bear hug.
The smell of expensive perfume washes over me.
"I love you so much Ari! Your plan worked! The second I told him my parents wanted me to meet a guy they liked for the dance he said he would be taking me to the ball!"
"Glad to know my scheming skills are functionall!" I say with a laugh.
She quickly gets off of me and dusts off her suit before yanking me up by my arm from the grass.
"It's the weekendd. Study later! We're heading to elite's square! Gotta shop for a dress. And you have to as well! Lav and Ry already agreed. They will be meeting us there."
I gather all of my materials and dump it into my bag.
"Okayy! Are we going in these outfits?" I say pointing to what we are wearing.
I'm wearing a cream colored plaid skirt and short white blouse with brown boots as it's so sunny outside. While she's in her riding outfit.
"Yup! Your outfit's so cute! And this outfits new either way so I don't really care."
We get into the carriage that's waiting for Coralie outside of the campus.

"Ooo you should put your hair down. You have to buy this Ari! Everyone's gonna be looking at you!" Lav exclaims.

I loved the dress too but it seemed kinda revealing for a ball. And I would be broke after buying this.
"I'm not sure Lav. It doesn't seem like my style."
"Nonsense! I'll pay for it! I didn't give you anything for your birthday either. It'll be my gift."
That would be quiet an expensive gift. I would have to start saving up for hers right now.
Ry and Coralie had already picked their dress and paid for it as well.
